Why does the JA37C get PD at 11.0, whilst having 2 AIM-7E-2’s, one of the best radar missiles at 11.0? I dont even get the logic, mind its faster and more agile than planes like F-4E and a good amount of planes.
11.3*, but with 2 fox2 and 4 rear aspect is decent at that br bracket, it’s fine where its in and WTH DO YOU MEAN 12.0

I mean that it should be moved to 11.7 or 12.0, bc of its PD radar and the ability to have two AIM-7E-2’s, that’s like 100% chance of getting 2 free kills (Pd = less ground clutter)
its the strongest 11.3 sure, but it keeps aircraft like the MiG-25, F-4E and Kurnass at bay. It only gets 2 Skyflash’s. 12.0 makes no sense considering the JA37D is already at 12.0 and its extremely mid… and that’s with like a billion more countermeasures and AIM-9L’s

12.0 would also mean it’s at the same BR as the F-4J, which gets much better SARH missiles, up to 3 times as many of them, a better flight model, an arguably better gun, more countermeasures, etc.
Even at 11.7, it would be pretty mid. The Skyflashes are potent, but they’re pretty much the only advantage the Viggen has at this point, after the sledgehammer nerf to the flight performance. You get two kills on anyone dumb enough not to multipath at this tier, and that’s it.

I can’t see it going any higher than 11.7, because every single 12.0 is better.
I can, besides why not, at this point might as well make Sweden unplayable given 90% of players would still call the JA37C OP at 12.0 because they bombed their way to top tier.

People should stop getting on the forums and crying after they get eliminated in their OP plane one time to some random vehicle. Oh my, sorry the Viggen (a jet that stalls with a slight turn, massive body that you don’t even need to aim at to hit, and is basically a glorified interceptor) defeated you because you flew in a straight line while your RWR was blaring at you to do something besides watch TikTok.

I’m sorry OP, but this is a terrible, dumb take.
The JA37C is a damn good plane, don’t get me wrong. The 2 AIM-7’s can be potent with the radar it has, especially if you aren’t aware of it having a pulse doppler radar.
Its AIM-9J’s are nothing special, and while it is fast, it has the Viggen and Draken problem of pissing all of its speed away in turns. Gun also has no tracers.
It’s a good plane. I can comfortably get a 2KD in it, but that does not mean it should be moved up, especially not above the BR of the Mig-23MLA and the same BR as the JA37D.

Now go compare JA-37C to the F-4S with 4 AIM-7F (better missiles) and also having PD as well as having better IR missiles and RWR

F4E is good on the right hands, but I’d take my Viggen over it any day. The F4E has a higher kill potential, but those 2 PD Aim7-E-2’s are just fantastic.
I’d say they are about equal though.

They are more or less equals. It’s basically preference. So both are the best 11.3s

Maybe the JA37C is too strong to be at 11.3 (though not inherrently because of PD radar, otherwise are you also saying the Hawk 200 RDA should be 12.0 because it has a PD radar?) but I dont think it can reasonably move up.
At 11.7 you have the Mig-23MLD which has a stronger FM, stronger missiles, stronger CM count and maybe even a stronger RWR. The only real advantage the Viggen has is a better radar.
Then at 12.0, let alone the F-4s, but you also have both the Tornado ADVs, which are substantially stronger and most importantly of all. the Viggen D, which is the direct upgrade of the Viggen C with additions such as BOL and Aim-9Ls. So it definetly doesnt belong at 12.0.
