the J7E has much better flight performance, turns and sustains energy much better, and sweats used to play it a lot so its stats were carzy and it got bumped in br, while newbies buying the J7D got its stats ruined so it was lowered in br.
And btw the PL5 is a much better missile than the PL7, the acceleration to 4-5km is one of the best in game, even beating most top tier ir missiles, so it can catch people by surpirse and is more effective at getting kills than the close range pl7 that people can see coming and easily flare off.

J7D should be 11.0, its missile kit+FM combo is too strong for 10.7. Its the best turning mig-21 FM after the J7E

Why don’t you try dueling a J7E in one? Because I have and the J7E slams the J7D, and it’s not even close.

absolutely, I love it but it’s genuinely stupid for 10.7, the flight performance alone is bonkers.
J-7E is mediocre. J-7D gets uptiered a lot, so you’re better off using one of these attackers with IRCCM, like su-25bm
J-7D flight performance is bad. It will get clapped by F-5 because you have to constantly manuver yourself to the position of their engine back
j-7e is closer the the f-16 blk 40 than to the j-7d imo
The Bis is the 2nd best Mig-21 flight performer overall.
J-7D is marginally 3rd.
J-7D could likely win 1v1s though.

For turning. You could argue that the extra acceleration/speed from the bis is more useful in the meta.
Against the J7E? ‘Could’ I agree, but ‘likely’?
Maybe I missed a buff on the bis’ flight model but I’m pretty sure the J7E’s energy retention can stall out a J7D any day in a dogfight. That’s why they modified the wings in the first place to mitigate that weakness.

11.0 is abit low. I’d say 11.3 at a minimum.
Honestly, I’d love to see it at 11.7 just to screw with the ppl who bought it.

Idk the exact differences between the Bis and the J7D, but they’re both undertiered.
