It has no RWR, only 12 countermeasures and pretty mediocre missles for br 11.
You lose energy super fast, you might be able to get one or two turns when dogfighting before you’ve lost too much speed.
Personally, I get uptiered a lot when using the J35XS and going against F-14A’s, F-4S etc in the J35XS is not fair.
In my opinion, the J35XS should be lowered to like br 10.3
It shoud indeed be lowerd but not to 10.3 if you know how to play it its already good and when you get downtire it dominates . The minimum br shoud be 11.0 maybe 10.7

The issue is its performance in a full downtier.
At 10.7 it could be kinda OP vs the flareless sub-sonics that it easily out-turns and out-runs at 9.7.
I would start with 11.0 for it in ARB. If it really needs to go down again, then move it down again. But in the meantime. 11.0 would move it out of sight of the ARHs which it can legitamately claim to have an issue with.
In ASB though, I would vote for 10.7. The lack of RWR has an all round much larger effect and downtiers are less of an issue.

Because apparently it’s equal to an F-1. Totally believable. At the lowest, it deserves 11.0. The BR range is horribly compressed and Gaijin made a massive mistake in their BR changes, such as leaving J-7E and F-5E at 11.0 for god knows why.

Yeah, imo 10.7 makes sense given the -D is 10.3 and the XS doesnt have its falcons it should have.
