yeah but the kfir fills a completely different playstyle. People for the most part just take the bombs on it and destroy bases because it has the top speed and engine performane to do so, meanwhile a draken cant do that as fast as the kfir can. And even in standard air to air combat it can reach ungodly speeds and chase down or run away from anything because of its engine and lighter airframe, something the draken can’t reliably do. And the AIM-9G it gets is really easy to get kills with since it has far better range than an AIM-9J which allows you to launch them from a far and catch people off guard. You underestimate the Kfir too much, the number of missiles shouldnt be the main indicator of how powerful a jet is. Though I gotta agree the J35XS was just fine at 10.7 and should have stayed there, but right now the XS and MIG-21SMT are the best jets to get a downtier in.
i mean, number is not indicator when they are good rockets. But with Kfir its usually “flare” and rocket is gone. Like really, it always gets to first flare, meaning you have two closely useless rockets and a good plane, but like 11.0 for that? idunno.
Biggest problem is its an effective bomber and gaijin balances based on score, its a lot easier to bomb than to get kills especially with so many crayon eaters flying around. Its partly why the XS went to 11.3 was because it could rocket bomb and get kills.

I mean have you seen the average premium player? I cant begin to count how many F4’s or Mig 23 prem players i see focus on base bombing over being a fighter
I stopped playing strike fighters as base bombers because Id lose to fighters who are base bombing lol
i mean with Phantoms yes, they are bad fighters but carry MANY bombs. But the Kfir? It looks like its a good fighter but the BR and rockets are bad. But MIGs? I usually see them with their R24s roaming around
And i also never saw players with Kfir Bombers tho
Really the prem Kfir i mainly see base bombing lol, same with the Migs which is weird cause R24R is amazing at its BR.
Yeah heres just an example of what i mean, they did just base bomb themselves to that BR and once rocket bombing got nerfed the XS went down in BR.

thats the case of every missile at that BR. Unless we are talking A-10s or SU-25s with IRCCM missiles. But personally I think the AIM-9G is good if not better than 9J. With the 9J you need to get pretty close and pray the dude is not paying attention while the 9G can be launched from far away if you have a fast jet like the canard.
idk, i tried bombing but it literally takes an entire bomb rack for a single base. And then you find yourself surrounded by enemies
Thats just how it is, not like thats unique to the Kfir, AJ and AJS are defenseless if they try to base bomb lol, they are unable to play as strike fighters
so, if that plane is useless as bomber as its 1 base per plane. And useless against jets as 9G suck. How to play that? Idk i feel like i gor robbed
AJS(different jet lol)isn’t using 9G’s the Kfir players ive run into are still getting bases

The J35XS is awful.
It’s a missile bus that has to constantly maneuver behind an enemy, and it has terrible manuverablity in high speed.
It turns very quickly at 550kph, but fighting at this speed means the missiles have no energy and you will stall. How bad is 550kph? The subsonic attackers like Su-25 fight at a way faster speed.
At supersonic speed it becomes barely better than a Starfighter.
At supersonic speed, even the bulky F-4C out fights it.
If you thought the DEFAs were terrible, now imagine only having one (1) of them.
Because it’s one of the things that it is good at.

The Kfir Canard actually has slower acceleration than the likes of Mig-21BIS. But once it reaches mach 1 it will scream towards them like a rocket because it does not rip at 1350kph (sea level speed)
Bad energy retention, awful guns (usable but inferior to 20mm of f-5), limited missiles, and a godly top speed.
That’s the perfect bomber for ARB. Unlike the F-104S, it can do some turn fighting after the bombing.
Furthermore, the constant mirage f1c IRCCM/mig-23/F-4S SARH spam basically force you to multipath. So bombing is the most viable choice for earning with this jet.
I will say this if we talk Kfir Canard then we need to talk about it compared to its closest relative in terms of role being the F-35
F-35 is 10.3 id say the Canard could be 10.7 to 11.0 as its better in missiles. Better in Countermeasures, better in speed, better in ammo count and gun placement overall it probably deserves to be 11.0 as its just an effective multirole base bomber…
Yes its a compression issue but it should be close to the F-35 in BR.
