J10A thrust to weight ratio error

The J-10A fighter jet initially used Russian Al-31FN and AL-31FN Series 3 engines, with maximum thrust of 127kN and 137kN, respectively, and a thrust to weight ratio of 7.87.
The F-16V variant is equipped with the F110-GE-132 engine, which boasts a maximum thrust of 144 kN and a thrust-to-weight ratio of 7.8.
After the update of the J10A test server, the thrust to weight ratio only showed a pitiful value of less than 4.
This is ridiculous! The acceleration is not as good as the F4C, and the maximum speed is not as good as the MiG-21SMT.
The performance of a light fighter jet paired with a high thrust aircraft engine is surprisingly inferior to that of a high thrust twin engine heavy fighter jet, and even an outdated single engine medium thrust fighter jet… Are you kidding me?
Even early versions of the J10 fighter jet had maneuverability at the level of the F16C. It should be noted that China and Pakistan have used the J10 and F16 for adversarial maneuvers.
Pakistani pilots have recognized that the acceleration performance of the J10 is not inferior to that of the F16, and the J10’s instantaneous disk performance gives it an overwhelming advantage over the F16 in the first 30 seconds of entering dogfighting.
Only when the dogfighting time is too long and lose high speed , the F16 can deal with the J10.
Due to the use of the same Russian high thrust aircraft engine as the Su-27, the aircraft’s performance is definitely not inferior to that of the F16C.

I agree with you, the thrust-to-weight ratio of the AL-31FN is no less than that of the yak141, but the J10 in the game has a huge air resistance and a pathetic thrust-to-weight ratio that does not exist, which is ridiculous!

J-10CE doesn’t really help but your second set of data seems promising.

The thrust is 12500kgf for the FN, which is 122.5KN, it will be lower installed. Giving it a thrust to weight uninstalled of 8.08.

The main problem isn’t the engine but the drag.

Just be like what this video showed, J10A’s acceleration performance is pretty bad after reaching 1 Mach, even hard to reach 1400 km/h, which is ridiculous for a jet with high power engine.
