J out kill reward not working

The J out changes just don’t work. I lost around 5 kills in this match from ppl just crashing or J’ing out…

That’s because you’re playing in sim
Sim does not have this feature

It was pointed out explicitly in the blog where they explained the mechanic

So the mode that was suffering the most from it… didint get it???

the reason being “exploits” yet the mode that has more automated accounts than actual players is getting it

In simulator, someone can park their aircraft relatively close to an enemy runway, & their friend can takeoff & J-out over and over again.
That is why it was initially removed & why it’s still removed to this day.
Ten-thousands of players did this in sim instead of just… playing the game mode.

which is kinda impossible to pull in the current game with the airfield ITOs sniping anmything within 10km

you get 50% of the actual rewards making this incredibly inefficient now

now air sim is just “people” crashing on purpose to deny kills

Above their guidance, yes, but not below.
& the idle timer is avoidable with Harriers & low-speed takeoff props.

This was done before the usefull action based economy. And since we nowadays have capped RP/SL rewards the J-out abuse with hundreds of kills / game would be totally pointless for farming.

In fact the only case where it would make sense would be farming some quick score during the events. But it would also be rather easy to flag and punish this kind of behaviour even automatically. Not to mention people have been abusing the ordnance change bug for really quick and easy score for quite a few events already without any action being taken.

But sure, if the options are to have either J-out kill reward or ability to do events in Sim also in the future I will pick the latter

You cannot park your plane on the ground since the last ice age, only a harrier could even do that

Thats not a valid complaint anymore.

In naval EC two players can do the same thing, but gaijin is adding the mechanic to naval next major update. Theres literally no excuse sim shouldnt have it anymore

as was said before, it was not added to sim

also, interesting conversation going on there
