Compare the j8f to f14s and f15A it can’t compete…pl8 b , pl9 , pl 10 ,11 is needed if it’s to stay in br13. If not br 12.7 it should belong.
As after shooting pl 12 x2 it’s a plane 11.7 plane.

These sources confirm that the J-8F can carry 2 x PL-10 missiles.
Only possible current fix for the J-8F would be introduction of the PL-8B’s. They could temporarily gimp the seeker like they did on AAM-3, and it would be alright. I’m pretty certain this plane at no point carried more than 2 PL-12’s, and never PL-10’s. PL-11 would be redundant, I can’t understand why you keep including that.

J-8’s wingtips aren’t exactly suited to carry AAM’s, don’t you think? Are you by any chance using an AI tool to generate these?

I keep adding pl 11 is that all 12.7 + planes have medium range radar missiles as secondary as aim 7f or df missiles etc
This j8f has to face tougher opponents at 12 br …which is unreal for this game …as higher br always should be at better situation than lower ones

For pl 12 i understand but for rest I think odin aus and etc are pretty genuine
Did you read your own sources? In the sino defence article or Wikipedia dont even mention it…
There isnt an artlicle about thr j8 either on “millitary today”, the other one i couldn’t check it as it has a paid subscription, but it is safe to say that the doesnt mention it either, or it would be wrong at the very least as they j8f doesnt even have wing tip pylons.
PL12 is objectively better in every way compared to the PL11 (Aspide) so I’m unsure as to why you keep mentioning it in relation to the J8F which lacks the CW illuminator required to guide said archaic missile. PL12 comes stock now, so any PL11 mod would actively hamper the experience of the plane, being an unnecessary and downright detrimental addition. If you really want to use the PL11 the J8B has it, as well as earlier J10A models.

Secondly have you read odin and aus links it pretty much says a variety of things and is with pictures also…if consider china defence today a vlog …those two are detailed and reliable.

Dude even odin does not mention the pl10 anywhere… are you perhaps refereing to the sd 10?
None of these are sources. You might be able to dig into wikis source and see what it uses, but none of these will be accepted by gaijin in a bug report.

2ndly read the odin and aus link very carefully it mentions every thing except 4 pl 12
3rd do youself a thing understand that after launching 2 pl12 s the plane becomes a 11.7 plane at 13.0 if even pl 9 or 8b s are added still it can’t compete with the secondary missiles of planes of br 12 which is very unfair eg sparrows and etc radar ones …it was tested to carry 2x pl 12 and 2xpl11 so it can carry it as
2x pl 12
2xpl 11
2xpl 9/8b
Which will get it balance at 13.0 br .
I doubt China would fit their most modern short range missile on a legacy platform like the J8F. Maybe PL8, but certainly PL8.
