if this guy is so confident he has enough evidence, why doesn’t he make a bug report in Gaijin issue site? instead he is wasting his time arguing with everyone on the forum. The Gaijin developers do not care about what is being discussed here.

Pl 8 at 13.0 is ignorance…all other planes have secondary missiles even at 12 br… :(

Logically if your complaint is PL-8s being obsolete you should ask for PL-8Bs, not 4 PL-12s.

Pylon 2 = middle pylon…it looks like a r27 or a r73 to me

The second pylon appears to be an R-27, however as mentioned previously in this thread, this aircraft specifically was a one off demonstrator for export demonstration. It’s even likely that it was only mounted, yet the radar and internals were incapable of guiding/firing the missile at the time. Need hard concrete proof to get those added, as pictures (especially of a plane that’s not the J-8F) won’t ever cut it.
The F-8IIM can certainly launch Russian missiles and is equipped with Zhuk radar, but this is far from the thread J-8F

They all state that the j8 f is the most advanced variant of all j 8 family it can carry all missiles start with pl 2 to pl 12 b anti radar one .
Just because it is the most “advanced” doesnt mean that it retains all the capabilities form the previous planes specially when they use different radars and sistems, not to mention that the statement “pl 2 to pl12” literally doesnt include the r73 or r27…

Yeah maybe thats true, but there has only been hard evidence that shows that the J-8F can only equip,fire, and guide chinese domestic missiles. And the only hard evidence gaijin has is that it can only equip a maximum of 2 Radar guided Pl-12s.
Give it the pl 9/8 b and problem solved i will be happy…that’s the issue (pl 8 obsolete)
