You’re comparing a 3.5 gen interceptor to 4th gen air superiority fighters. They aren’t awful comparable. The modern weaponry of the J8F puts it at a higher br. If you want a lower BR machine I can point you towards the J8B with the PL11 and PL5B
Do you have any evidence that the pl11 can be used anywhere aside of the middle wing pylon, because other wise it would be 2x pl12 OR 2x pl11.
Realisticly the only upgrade the J8F can get is the PL8, and that’s all you can hope for
2 pl 12 puts it at higher br rest is obsolete and gunk…pl8 has no irccm
