J-7D sim rating change to balance against all aspect IR missiles

The J-7D’s battle rating, I believe, should be lowered from 11.0 in sim to 10.7 or the battle ratings of other aircraft with all-aspect IR capabilities, such as the F-5A(G) or the Finish Mig-21 Bis, be raised to 11.3 in order to balance out that BR bracket as it makes the J-7D and many other aircraft hopelessly outmatched in terms of missile performance. I believe raising those aircraft’s battle ratings would make the 11.0 BR far more balanced, fair, and would be a great trade in terms of missiles to flight performance compared to other aircraft in the 11.3 BR. If not, please consider changing non-all-aspect IR capable aircraft in a 11.0 sim BR to 10.7.

F4E is already 10.7, and can cause as much damage as the J7D would if it was 10.7.

So you end up with something like; F4E vs MiG-19

Yeah but this is also a weird outlier jet to me. I don’t see why it is a lower BR in sim.

Lots of stuff is underetiered compared to other modes or just in general, see J7E, A10C, F4E etc

J-7d has pretty good fm for 11.0 (pretty much bis level) while having magic 1s/pl5bs which imo are better than r60ms. I think the only thing it’s lacking in is its radar which doesn’t have iff for some reason?

I think the greater issue is the irccm missles at 11.0 and 11.3. The magic 2 should be removed from the mirage f1. The A10C should go up to 12.0 or lose it’s 9M. I personally think that irccm missiles shouldn’t be introduced until 12.3 and higher.

I think that the J7d is great where it is at. The 9L is easy to flare given the low temperature of the mig 21 variants.

Real problem is J-7E which is OP as hell in 11.0BR

Sim BR is pretty weird at overall.

Phantom FG.1 and FGR.2 has 11.3BR but, F-4J(UK) has ways higher BR for somehow.
