At this point the plane is basically a legitimate waste of money with how laughably easy it is for PL-5 and PL-7 to lose lock even under 1KM after launch. not pre-flare lock mind you.
And it can’t destroy bases too? even Draken can.
Putting this in the same price range as F-4S, F-5C (that got better matchmaking overall as even uptier is pretty manageable with F-5 heat signature and manouverability), MiG-23 and F1C-200 is just an insult to these overtiered premium.
And it’s not about J-7 too, even ADTW and Lazur suffer the same problem.
These premium need buff ASAP or replaced with better plane altogether, let me and other dumbass fell to the J-7D honeypot and give other better plane like J-8C, which is J-8B with better engine and similar armament or F-8IIM, J-8B with russian radar as export Variant of J-8.
Point being, some premium being sold in this game should not be sold at all, even this Tornado IDS prototype should not see active participation in market, it’s not even half as good as A-6E in terms of bluffing as interceptor.
PL-5 is not it;s historical armament, it should see PL-8 considering how bad it is at A2G role, even draken can rocket a whole base off.
If they want to make it useless in A2G then make it’s A2A capability strong, no inbetween, if F-4S can do both well at the same price range why not J-7 get full A2A capability?
That’s not true, with the skill bonus for killing 2 or more enemies you make way more RP by fighting people, and you’ll also just win more by fighting rather than being useless by bombing.
1 base bombed and 1 person killed is roughly the same SL and RP, why should I go killing people when my chance is lowered by 15 other person in game? told you PL-5 and PL-7 lose lock like a bitch even under 1KM
The J-7D doesn’t have that terrible FM and it is your fault that you have one of the best rear aspect missiles, and it is sent back to the hangar without killing a single player.
