And almost every top tier premium in game either have radar and all aspects or good bomb loadout. the j-7d has none of that.
Thats a J-7G
Then, explain what is wrong with the J-7E photo I quoted from the Baidu wiki?
That looks like a J-7E to me because it still has old cockpit canopy frame
As far as I know, the premiums that have all-aspect missiles in 11.0/11.3 are MiG-21bis, MiG-23ML, Mirage F1C, except for the attackers, but for MiGs, R-60M is not a problem in light of the worst all-aspect missiles.
I don’t know about Mirage F1C because I have never played it before but, it looks insane because it has Magic II which is one of best IR missiles in the game.
The Tornado and Su-39 have all-aspect missiles because they are just attackers that is not designed to kill fighters.
- F-4E
- F-4EJ/F-4EJ ADTW
- Kurnass
- F-104S/F-104S TAF
- J-7D
- J-7E
- JA37C
Other 11.0BR aircraft have all-aspect missiles, but there are good reasons to get them, such as the R-60M being the worst all-aspect missile or not even fighter in the first place.
most of the vehicles u mentioned all have good radar except for maybe the f-104 and the Japanese f-4 and ofcourse the j-7d and e . and u said most, this is only 7 planes bro
lol the pl-8 is almost as flare hungry so even if it was added to the j-7d it is not gonna improve it one bit.
The tail antenna.
The only one of them that has a PD radar is literally JA37C.
As I said earlier, other fighters (mainly MiG-21bis, MiG-23M/MF) have good reason to receive it if you take into consideration that the R-60M is terrible and has only 12 flares on MiG-23.
Compared to the R-60M, the Python-3 is far better in both the performance of the missile itself and its flare tolerance. I would say it is still close to the AIM-9Ls but, both things are equaly good.
How is it different?
In the case of the cockpit canopy, the J-7G has a frameless canopy similar to the F-15 and F-16, while the J-7E, like the earlier MiG-21/J-7 variants, has a frame in the cockpit.
they arent the same BR nor are they the same plane so idk why you’re drawing this conclusion
I think I have seen many topics complaining about the J-7D and giving PL-8 because of skill issue.
The first photo you sent is a J-7G, Air Supremacy camo.
There are varying production standards
So… You don’t post any evidence (photos, manuals, etc.) that it is J-7G not J-7E, and while you say that I am wrong in distinguishing between a J-7E or J-7G by the shape of the canopy, you still don’t post evidence as well.
What the clown lmao
Another photo that may be useful…
It is a brochure given at an air show in 1996.
Yeah… I know that’s F-7MG that is export variant of J-7 but, given that it is based on the J-7E, it should not be that much of a problem.
Childish.
Thats PL-5
Blue missles are PL-5, out pylon missle is a training missls of some sort, too short to be PL-8
I will admit i was wrong about it being J-7G, but its also not strongly evidenced that J-7E uses it.
Edit; found that J7E equipped PL-8/B in the late 90s, although i think it would be better to just add J-7G.
As far as I know, blue one was trainer model of PL-8.
Here is a decent quality photo
In my photo you quoted, you can literally see a J-7E carrying a live PL-8 that is NOT a trainer model.
Although the photo is of slightly poor quality, you can see a live missile on the pylon next to where the trainer model is mounted.
I already stated:
Although its only 2 PL-8
Honestly, it would make more sense to move it to 11.3BR with x4 PL-8s since currently J-8B and J-7E have the same BR and it is pointless to bring J-8B in ARB because of its performance.
I guess J-7G can implement in the game with more better missiles such as PL-9s. It would be fun to play because of HMD.
@thethrill8284257 If I´m remembering correctly then the PL-8 is the export (or rather licence-built) version of the Isreali Python 3, so 40G all aspect, very good for 11.0, but the airframe of J-7D would balance it (the python isnt the craziest missle, it doesnt have IRCCM or thrust vectoring, but still a very good seeker). I like the Idea of giving the J-7D pythons, bc gaijin will never put it at 10.7 (sadly). The J-7D NEEDS one of these changes, because its just a worse (engine and missle count wise) M21-bis. The Mig-21 family (or Delta wings in general) have a problem with energy bleeding and the J-7D has the worse engine, despite being at the same battle rating. I mean the Magic 1 (or PL-7´s) are crazy after the recent buff (R-73 vibes) but still only rear aspect and extremly close range (1.6 km max.). And with the worse acceleration its even harder to hunt after a target after only one single turn! Gaijin needs to change something in this area for sure!
The PL-8 is a licensed Python 3, the PL-8A is a PL-8 with HMD support and the PL-8B is a PL-8A with IRCCM.
