J-15T - Worth It?

And this also shows how unplayble the J-15T is comparatively otherwise the rating would be close to my other aircraft which it isnt.

The problem is that all your planes are in poor status.

Not nearly as bad as the J-15T though so that argument doesnt make a whole lot of sense. Its not my fault you are such a sweat. This argument of yours is literally stupid. “GitGud” would only apply if my win rate on the J-15T would be close to my other jets which it ISNT.

Yeah my missiles are useless. I gave up on using them. I only have them as a last ditch effort now. The j-15T is unplayable as I said.

Poorer performance can always be expected for non-spaded aircraft (because well, duh, its weaker than it should be)

It is also widely accepted that the J-15T is not in a healthy state at the moment and likely should be 14.3. This is in part due to the low Chaff count which is historically accurate. The aircraft requires a far more defensive and cautious playstyle compared to the Typhoon, which can get away with being more aggressive

It is also known that PL-12 and PL-12A are not doing well Kinematically at the moment due to recent nerfs, but were for a while some of the better Fox-3 Missiles. But from what ive heard from trusted sources, they are handling more like AMRAAM now, rather than being notably better than AMRAAM.

Extra chaff and PL-15 are highly unrealistic at this time. The Chaff count for the J-15T is correct due to its IRL dependence on ECM and PL-15s would only result in an Increase in BR.

Your issues regarding the PL-12 being “easier” to notch than Aim-120C5 or the missile not tracking correctly though dont track (pun semi-intended). There isnt any reason why they should be different to the C5 in this regard apart from the aforementioned differenes in launch conditions which has a major impact on how likely it is to kill a target with a Fox-3. So in this, providing examples of replays or clips would be appreciated.

It might be well worth spending some time Familiarizing with some lesser known aspects of BVR combat. I would suggest starting with properly reading the radar interface, including the range scale and LSZ zone. I have written a guide for this here. It sounds like you have firing sub-optimal shots and then being surprised when they dont work

Even if you do notch with the J-15T which I also gave up on doing, you have such low chaff count and even when multipathing you just get destroyed.

I just watched two replays, and you’re the one who’s terrible zero positioning, flying straight toward a base without even looking back. You only avoid dying twice because of luck. You use flares and chaff at the same time even though you only have six flares, and you put yourself in situations where you have to use flares. So many mistakes, it’s scary

As I said. I gave up on trying with the J-15T. It doesnt change anythign if I try. Its UNPLAYABLE.

My MAWS fired those flares fyi. Shouldnt you know this? Noob.

As you should be quite frankly. Relying on MP to defend is a sure-fire way to get killed. Perticuarly at higher BRs where most average a much higher altitude

That makes sense. I don’t play because I don’t want to, but the plane is unplayable. My God, why is it so hard to admit that you’re bad and have a lot to improve?

??? Turn off MAWS noob

I just forgort? Fucking sweaty ass discord mod.

its ironically what you think he wants, selective realism, because there is an ECM suite irl to make up for the 48 CMs

As I already said. This argument is retarded as my win rate on the J-15T isnt nearly as “good” as on my other top tiers.

I know it exists at least for most top-tier aircraft, if we don’t have ECM in the game, We have to make do with what we’ve got

Trying to insult me won’t change your situation or improve your gameplay, what you should do is listen to what we’re telling you and make the necessary changes the next time you play

Nope. I am quite happy with my Ef-2000 and the way it plays. The J-15T is underperforming though. I know you cant accept that in your basement as a pro player.

A non-spaded aircraft, which requires a radically different playstyle to the Typhoon, specifically more defensive playstyle, that also happens to have quite a high skill curve at the moment due to its short-comings and by the sounds of it, you have been playing it overally aggressively, putting yourself into situations where you have to aggressively defend…

Yeah… Im not that surprised tbh. Whislt yes the J-15T is not in a healthy state at the moment, not denying that, it probably wouldnt be quite so bad with a more defensive playstyle.

Try this instead. Fly high, 20-30k ft, stay more defensive, edge skirt a bit, stay out of the middle of the map getting fired at from all direction. Try to maximise your limited chaff count by kinematically draining incoming missiles rather than relying solely on notching (DONT TRY TO MP)

Then engage targets of oppotunity, those busy dealing with some else, someone flying very high, etc etc. Avoid a prolonged WVR encounter wherever possible. Learn how to read your radar fully (guide above) and work on firing under kinematically advantageous conditions
