I would like to gather some opinion after a brief but painful stock grind period, because even from this short tenure with the jet that is supposed to be China’s top of the line blockbuster, it really falls short in too many ways for me to ignore. The kinetics, electronics, missile suite and CAS capabilities all seem to fall into the worst 14.7 jet. It is very apparent to me it doesn’t belong there.
There current is the everlasting lack of sources surrounding this plane and that is going to be inevitable for a plane spotted just over a year and half ago. I am however looking for solutions, potentially for lower BRs, even if that means China looses its top of the line 14.7 jet.
Potential ways to do this can be through, for example removal of 1 set of PL-8B and PL-12A double racks, to bring the total down to a realistic 8+2 loadout, at which point 14.0/14.3 wouldn’t sound like a ridiculous idea.
Oh yeah, please do not get into the argument of sources and stuff, there are better places, this is purely for discussion of how to make it slightly better.
fair id say (as those are ahistorical anyway), if we wanna buff it the only way would either be some BS countermeassure pods, aswell as new A2A (eg PL-15/PL-10 very unlikely to happen), and for cas more and better A2g that china could have but never has mounted on their planes(eg exhibition stuff).
The J-15T is totally unplayable in Air RB. The Missiles lose track almost instantly, they seem to have insane drag and they dont turn. The Chaff count is absurdly low and the stock grind is an abomination. The J-15T needs it´s PL-15 Missile and more chaff asap!
That cant be true for the PL-12 and P-12A. Even at a range of 10 Kilometers the PL-12A cant hit anything. One Chaff and it looses track. All the energy is gone after 6 Kilometers. IT cant even chase after an FA18 at close range.

They did under go recent changes which were likely somewhat ahistorical and nerfed them notably, so I would bear with it in regard to this.
This is a widely known issue about the J-15T, but due to its IRL dependence on ECM, a mechanic not currently in-game, its a weakness that it will just have to deal with.
It is for everything, and it is by design. The worst it is, the more likely you’ll spend GE on skipping it.
These would not be added in a Vacuum, and would come with equivalents for all nations. Likewise it would only move it higher in BR where it currently could probably do with a reduction to 14.3 instead
If a possibility for more Chaff existed, then it would have likely been done already, but if you have sources for it having more chaff, then please submit a bug report
