The J-15T is totally unplayable in Air RB. The Missiles lose track almost instantly, they seem to have insane drag and they dont turn. The Chaff count is absurdly low and the stock grind is an abomination. The J-15T needs it´s PL-15 Missile and more chaff asap!
It’s realistic at least if you want selective realism just for yourself
All Seekers are the same except for Mica and it’s already been confirmed that there won’t be any new-generation missiles in the next update
That cant be true for the PL-12 and P-12A. Even at a range of 10 Kilometers the PL-12A cant hit anything. One Chaff and it looses track. All the energy is gone after 6 Kilometers. IT cant even chase after an FA18 at close range.
Dont take this the wrong way, but this is likely user error. If you have a clip of this, then please do share it, so that better feedback can be given,
They did under go recent changes which were likely somewhat ahistorical and nerfed them notably, so I would bear with it in regard to this.
This is a widely known issue about the J-15T, but due to its IRL dependence on ECM, a mechanic not currently in-game, its a weakness that it will just have to deal with.
It is for everything, and it is by design. The worst it is, the more likely you’ll spend GE on skipping it.
These would not be added in a Vacuum, and would come with equivalents for all nations. Likewise it would only move it higher in BR where it currently could probably do with a reduction to 14.3 instead
If a possibility for more Chaff existed, then it would have likely been done already, but if you have sources for it having more chaff, then please submit a bug report
If the target is notching correctly, then this is the case for everything, especially if the chaff in question is Large Calibre.
User error can be ruled out I have 600 hours plus and this isnt my first tech tree.
Trust me I know how the game works.
It’s none of my business whether you believe it or not, but the missiles are all the same
And so all the missiles suffer the same fate if the notch is done right, that’s life
Weird how the Aim 120C on my EF-2000 doesnt do the same.
600 hours? That’s nothing. And don’t use hours as an argument Morvan and I together must have 20 times as many hours as you do.
Why don’t you know how notch ?
Ok cool story bro but thats besides the topic.
More like 7 ish, but yeah.
Where did you get that from?
Because it’s easy to notch an AIM-120
Apparently the enemies never know that.
The Aim120C performs waaaaay better than the PL-12 and PL-12A
Of course not, and I don’t like using this, but you have a 0.60 KD in air combat, you have almost a negative KD in the Su-30MKK. I don’t think you know what you’re talking about.
Up until very recently, the PL-12 was superior to the Aim-120C5, PL-12A even more so, there was a very recent set of changes designed to improve the missiles stability which had a notable impact on the overall kinematic performance. This is widely known and document, so your reports regarding the PL-12 handling poorly is a known issue. But Seeker performance, is no different between Aim-120C5 and PL-12.
If I were to hazard a guess, its launch conditions. Based upon your previous statements, you have not yet fully spaded the J-15T and the Typhoon is more capable in firing high and very fast. Conditions very well suited for the AMRAAM. I would suspect the PL-12 is much the same, needing good launch conditions to succeed. The naturally slower state of a non-spaded aircraft combined with an aircraft less capable of reaching higher speeds would result in a Aim-120C5 having a better chance than the PL-12 under similar ranges and target conditions.
But their vulnerability to notch and thus chaff remains un-changed.
Ok bro. This doesnt change the fact that the Pl-12 and PL-12A have way too much drag and seem to loose track super easily. Or at least get outmanouvered easily.
