It's time to remove multi-pathing (2026)

It is utterly ridiculous that modern missiles like the AIM-120D or R-77-1 should be vulnerable to 60m of the multipathing effect. It’s unhistorical and seriously effects the balance of planes with few missiles. Players hugging the deck already have an a large advantage in forcing missilez into IOG+DL modes as well as being able to get into the notch faster. It’s time to remove multipathing from toptier missiles and make the game more balanced and realistic.

Top tier already sucks hard enough

Realistic sure but you might wanna explain how its more balanced that way. Total missile count is already a huge advantage some planes have over others and were not even talking about BRs like 13.0 where compression throws together Fox 1,2 and 3 capable fighters.

If they remove mutilpathing they better move jets that only have 4 missiles away from the missile busses that can have 8-12 AMRAAMs.

Also they need to nerf all AIM-7s that behave like that have inverse monopulse seekers.

The last thing this game needs is “realism”, if you ask for realism then you should also ask for realistically sized maps

Honestly no
Removing multipathing is a bad idea
The average player can’t even notch one medium range missile consistently.

Not to mention nuke planes at top tier grb

Imo the best solution is to lower mp height again (to like 40m) so it’s not good enough to be consistent against top-down shots while also making chaff a stock modification and introducing notching tutorials that don’t suck

Yes but if players get free chaff and maps that are not gm_flatgrass

I agree, they need to remove it since it’s unrealistic.

Half the game if not 3/4th is unrealistic, remove the game

Might be the case because average player buys high tier premium without any experience or knowledge. And I think game should provide corresponding tutorials. But free magic protection bubble - nuh uh. Noobie gets rewarded with invulnerability (not 100% reliable tho) for not learning at all. Notching, chaff, radar types and how they work - nah, screw that, Ill sniff grass and evade most of enemy missiles.
Oh also should I bring up helis especially top tier ones?

High flying players still have the big advantage over them

I agree, they need to just remove the game at this point.

should be when ECM gets added
+1 i agree

Make game even worse by doing this, 16v16 does not allow you to notch every missile

I would literally explode all over the battlefield against all spaa especially the Panstir if they added that to the F15E and its ordinance. Fly straight up to space and nothing would touch me.

I miss it in Nuclear Thunder

Only if we get

  • Stock chaff and BOL
  • ECM

Without those, you are just kicking the ladder, to make stock grind impossible.

Makes the game worse and theoretically makes it a bit P2W.
Pay GE more or suffer long

While thats true, in some cases you are forced to fly low as well. In grb aa wont allow you to fly high. Stuff like s1 will swiftly end your f14, f18 or whatever you grabbed to club some enemy cas units. So you drop low and your missiles become more and more useless thanks to multipathing which essentially carries people who refuse to learn.
Another issue is in some cases you cant get any higher. Buk, mamba, type03 cant climb to 5-10 km. Because well you understand. What can they do against multipathing enemy? Hope for some lucky hit at best. And multipathing pilot uses like 0 skill or knowledge again. Tho you could say its also the case for aa playing ms excel.

So you are proving a point many others have (be it not stated here), to remove it from SPAA and their missiles lmao.
Multipathing in air rb is gonna stay and literally has more downsides than net positives. You are free food for anyone that climbed to even just 3km
