Hey, so, I was looking at my TT and I noticed that Italy’s first IFV (VBC PT2) is at a higher br than that of the Bradley M3 at 8.3 which the VBC is at 9.3 br and it doesn’t even get any ATGMS.
Just out of curiousity, is this due to poor balancing or is the vehicle at a good br?
VBC good in right hands, way better than bradley
The second. It does have better speed and acceleration, better cannon and it also have panoramic sight, which is really helpful
VBC doesn’t have commander sight, only Freccia got Janus recently.
This one. Fast firing APFSDS belts, and very mobile chassis. Its a great light tank even without ATGMs.
A good IFV at BR around 8 could be the C-13 with the 25 mm, which suggestion was passed not long ago. Oto Melara C13/25
There was experimentation with one MOWAG Tornado, a vehicle similar to the Marder, though I can’t recall if it could carry an ATGM, and if has been suggested or not (MOWAG Tornado - Esercito Italiano) .
Considering the time dedicated to Italy by dev the C-13 seems plausible since it could be assembled (most) using parts of vehicles already in the game with some necessary adaptations.

No way of knowing. Could be soon, could be a while. Up in the air basically.

Imo, poor balancing. The thing is mobile if there are large stretches of straight, open land, but outside of that it is a sluggish, under-armed bus. If I was to place it at a BR, it’d be ~8.7.
Would be pretty cool, although the chances of this one coming are quite low, since there is no evidence that the prototype was completed (hull was made, but it can be not enough).
