Italy Tech tree changes

The Italian tech tree looks very much throw together to me with lots of redundant vehicles, so I’m proposing these changes:

M3A3 Stuart → foldered under the AB 43, both are 2.7 and do the same thing, let’s give priority to actually Italian vehicles in their tech tree

Sherman V → foldered under the P40, same reason has before plus there are already more then enough Shermans

M44 → foldered with the M55, these two are essentially the same thing and there’s no need to have them separated

Sherman Vc → foldered under the Sherman Ic, it’s just a slight upgrade i don’t see why they should be separated

R3 T20 FA-HS → foldered with the Leoprad 40/70

M109G → foldered with the 2S1, both are howitzers that do the exact same thing

SIDAM 25 (Mistral) → foldered with the SIDAM 25

Tigris → it should be a tech tree vehicle instead of the M26A1 alongside the Hungarian operated Panthers, granted this won’t ever happen but Gaijin could add the varius Hungarian prototypes based on the Tiger and Panther, if their prototypes where even partially built.

There’s no BR changes, i feel like everything is at the right BR but i feel there’s still unnecessary tanks like the M18 Hellcat and M36B1 which is just a downgrade from the standard M36 Jackson. I’ll probably make another post regarding the Hungarian prototypes too

Why not? It’s just removing clutter and redundant vehicles

p40 and Sherman V are in completely different rank

Here is my proposal to improve the Italian tech tree by removing Hungary and restoring the tree’s integrity; it doesn’t need these copy-pasted units that dumb down the game for people who can’t be bothered to learn. This applies to all nations—playing the same “meta” tank over and over isn’t very fun.

Sure… but the 75 Sherman is literally in every other tech tree. Fine if you want them separated but foldering them won’t chnage anything

foldering them would ruin the ranks to be foldered they need to be in the same rank

I agree, the land lease vehicles are annoying because i want yo play Italian ones, on the other side… does italy have other tanks that can fill the void? Genuinely asking since i don’t really know.
Hunagry it’s fine, especially in the lower tiers i agree that it’s mid tier soviet armor shouldn’t be there… can’t really speak about top tier tho but as far as i know the Hungarian Leopard is italy best MBT

Ah… didn’t know, well most of them already are at the same rank so for them I’d say to do it… especially for the howitzers

You might not fully grasp the essence of the game: if I want to play a Leopard, I play it with Germany; if I want a T-72, I play it with Russia. The most pointless addition is the Leopard 2A4—it’s not actually that much stronger than the Ariete. One thing they could do—though they never will—is adjust the matchmaking so that if you are allied with the nation that has a specific unit (like the Leopard with Germany) while playing as Italy, you can use it; if you aren’t allied with Germany, you can’t. That would make the game unique again and prevent “Leopard vs. Leopard” matchups.

Not a bad idea to be honest and yes with that matchmaking Hunagry doesn’t fit in Italy, but it’s the same reasons i have for foldering all of these vehicles… they are copy paste when i want to olay Italian vehicles in the Italian tech tree… Then, I can’t really speak for top tier but i see your point

Let me correct myself, the M18 is necessary only untill there’s something Italian or Hungarian that can take it’s place, then it should be foldered

So remove the Turan III? It’s not copy-pasted.

And not sure how that provides IT TT “integrity”. There’s tons of copy-paste vehicles like the m3A3, m24, Shermans, m44 in other branches.
