I would be down for an Italian Panther as some sort of event vehicle. Definitely not what Italy needs at the moment but could serve as a nice, unique vehicle compared to the domestic options.

a panther D would not kill the 5.3 6.0 grb match making if the italain tec tree would get one, they are already limited at that br, im being bias as a player who has grinded the italian ground tree more than the other nation tho. In my opinion I dont mind copy paste vehicles for smaller nations like italy so I see the supposedly “panther D stationed in northern italy for taining purposes” would be good filler wether it was base tec tree or prem or event vehicle for italy

Why does Italy not need a Panther?
All Italy has in the 5.7 range are 2 spg with poor armor. The Sherman Vc (5.0) is too weak to fill the void due to lack of adequate armor and poor speed. After the Vc Italy needs to wait for the M26A1 at 6.7. That’s a giant gap.
As a poster in another thread shows Hungary used Panther D tanks - so that could easily be added to the tech tree after the Turan III.
And it’s not like other countries don’t have borrowed tanks.
