I want to suggest the addition of the new profile picture to WT, which would be based on the real photo of Italian military officer and naval engineer Vittorio Emilio Cuniberti.
This is the photo I suggest:
In my opinion the background can be changed with some naval thematic to make it more interesting.
Vittorio Cuniberti was born in 1854 in Turin, in 1878 he started his career in Genio Navale (shipbuilding unit of Regia Marina) and in 1910 he got a rank of Major general. He also worked in collaboration with Italian admiral and famous engineer Benedetto Brin and developed Regina Elena class pre-dreadnoughts.
Vittorio Cuniberti was famous for his concept of “all-big gun” fighting ships, which was basically later brought to life by Admiral Sir John Fisher and HMS Dreadnought. Firstly Cuniberti proposed the idea of ships-colossi armed only with one biggest available caliber to the Italian government, but they declined that due to the cost of such projects. Although Cuniberti with a permission of Italian government write an article expressing his idea in Jane’s Fighting Ships book. It is believed that his article influenced futher developments and trends in world’s navies.
