Italian F-104S has no business being 11.3

Can someone explain the BR of 11.3 for the F-104S and F-104S TAF in the Italian tech tree? I’m really struggling to understand how this thing is supposed to face things like Mirage F1Cs and MIG 23s who outclass it in literally every aspect possible. I mean even the JA37 which is 11.0 is superior in every aspect.

First of all you have a garbage radar that can only lock onto targets from a bottom-up attitude (and even then it’s a gamble if it will lock), AIM-7Es which in all honesty are not horrible but are useless because of the radar, AIM-9Ps which are extremely easily flared, a literal brick of an airframe that can’t turn for its life. Only positive is your speed but even then you have planes like the MIG-25 and 23 which are faster than you.

In my opinion, 11.0 would be a much fairer BR for this thing.

It probably should be lower, but I think you start entering realms of compression issues and moving it down could cause more harm than good, so it would be better to move other stuff up and decompress.

Though Gaijin probably wont move the TAF down because its a decent base bomber and thus it has a decent effeciency for its BR

IDK but a 0.3 BR change probably won’t change much, 10.7 ( as said from others) would be better in my opinion
