It seems the TK NUKE PLANE punishment is still not enough

It was a hard-earned comeback game. First, I got rammed by an Aries but didn’t get destroyed, then I was shot down by the Aries player’s teammates. Some players think the team-killing nuke plane penalty is nothing more than a slap on the wrist? Can Game Master get their accounts banned?

You should report said player directly on the server replay, adding as most details as possible such as timestamps and players’ actions that caused the intentional team-killing.

Recording a video and posting that should also help.

how to do it?who i need @?

You report directly inside the server replay (which I linked above) while watching it, it’s a in-game feature. You press right mouse button above the username’s and press “complain” or equivalent in Chinese and procceed with the recommended actions. Gamemasters are the people that deal with complaints and appeals, they can help in this situation as well, but like everyone you need to properly report the player.

Upfront:
Sorry to see this happening over and over again. I will add the link to your OP to the “team kill policy” thread as this one will get sooner or later locked.

Regarding this thread:

I saw a lot of misinformation about reporting and the role of game masters:

  1. You can save your energy for reporting regarding team killing as team kills are automatically tracked and punished via the “auto-ban-system” and GMs confirm frequently that they are just in charge of prosecuting chat related offenses.
  2. As i despise team killing i created the “team killing policy thread” and track this topic for years. The only thing what changed a while ago is that the the monthly “fair play” threads include now very small numbers of perma-bans.
  3. To be fair: Around one or two years ago a fellow player added a vid of getting team killed in a nuke carrier and the head of GMs (Orson_ES) reacted almost immediately and announced that the team killer got punished. You find the link to this thread somewhere in the “team killing policy thread”.

From my pov the only way to reduce team killing of nuke carriers would be a prioritisation of those aircraft within the existing “auto-ban-system” by adding a system flag to them and create by adding a multiplier a much more severe internal classification.

Example: If players team kill outside SB modes temp bans are triggered if certain (but unknown) thresholds are met. If you need (example) 20 team kills for a one week temp ban all you have to to do is to add a multiplier for nuke carriers. That means with a factor of let’s say 15 the team killer gets a temp ban after just 6 team kills (= 15 for the nuke carrier and 5 for “standard” team kills).

Have a good one!
