I hope Gaijin gives it at least a small ammount of kinetic protection in order for the Eitan to endure some autocannon fire. (I was definitely more happy with the earlier composite armor)

Quite quick indeed, luckily it’ll get to the devs, however it is as a “suggestion”. Still a absolute win for me, better than getting a NAB and sent to the shadow realm!

If side era was modeled for Eitan does that mean there’s a chance for namers side armor to be improved or added I should say

Nice but personally I wouldn’t bother since it wheeled, probably situational at best, at worse it’s garbage since gaijins tiny maps don’t favour wheeled vehicles or fnf missiles, imagine this thing on advance to the rhine or smth

I mean at this point it almost seems that the eitan will have better side armor than the namer ingame which would be hilarious if it turns out to be the case on the live server

Seems like with today’s update they have added another NERA armor plate to the UFP:
(The values of the plate are likely still WiP though of course)

Should cover the entire engine deck, hopefully they listen to the report. It’s a good stat though, but I expected this part of the deck to get this at least.

Was the update dropping today right? If someone can check whats new (if theres something new ofc) on thr eitan?
Side ERA was changed, provides around 530 mm of HEAT protection and around 54 mm against 30 mm APDS. Front hull is mostly protected against 30 APDS with some rounds destroying the engine. I don’t see anything else as changed but i very well could have missed something.

it got 10 mm more KE protection but CE protection got reduced by about 300 mm so i’d say so
I think this is the biggest problem with Eitan’s armor.

Well, this isn’t just an issue with the Eitan; it’s a problem with wheeled armored vehicles in general.
