- The difference in mobility is not that great, actually the T-80BVM’s mobility (in hp/ton terms) compared to the 11.7 Abrams is a larger gap than the 11.7 Abrams to the T-90M

No, but with 0 experience it gives you only 10% of the picture, and an error margin of 90%. Which means you can even be completely wrong about it

I’d say it’s the other way around, because without some sort of very niche strategy (i.e. playing matters <10%) the downsides of the Abrams cannot be overcome.

I usually have no problem at all dealing with the downsides of the Abrams.
Sure they are there, and the Abrams are not on the same level as the Strv 122s and 2A7s (just like every other MBT at top tier is not on that level), but every other MBT is pretty easy to deal with.
I hear if you spend over 2k Golden Eagles you dont get placed on a team wirh the USA for 4 matches.
