Is US top tier too weak

that isnt BOL

Cause its undertiered. Its fastest plane in the game, with 8 AIM-120s,on not bad platform, with good radar. And also ability to bring entire ammo dump while still having enough missiles for self protection.

hold on wrong image
XD

outaccelerated by typhoon and rafale no? and anyways, you are not going to hit that max speed ever in a real game. 8 mediocre AIM-120 that are artificially nerfed to the ground, on an absolute brick that bleeds speed like a cold war delta wing, 8 missiles isnt even remotely impressive too.

its fine at 14.0

Im decently sure thats the PIDS system,

even then theres this

Outaccelerated maybe, but not beaten in max speed. AIM-120s are still second best ARH ig right after MICA, and at long range still the best.

max speed is largely irrelevant since like i said, in a real game the typhoon is going to be faster.

as for AMRAAM’s, are you stuck in summer 2024? the seeker on the AMRAAM is way worse than the MICA’s so its stupid easy to defend at range

You can argue that top tier USA is boring because it hasn’t had a meta change in a while, but you can’t argue it’s ineffective or too weak.

No,i am not. MICA doesnt have the range of AMRAAM, it excels in short range due to its thrust vectoring to pull insane shots. Something AMRAAM cant, but MICA wont hit anything past 30 km,meanwhile AMRAAMs are giving kills when launched at 60 km.

luck and complete incompetence by the enemy

The second part maybe, the first one no. Longest range i got outta AMRAAM was 80 km kill with C-5 while flying F-15E.

No amraam, including the longer ranged 120C, is routinely (see: once in 10 matches maybe) getting 60+km kills.

MICA is effective within the non-LARPing actually trying to play the game correctly range of 10-25km. Past that you are LARPing.

As in, anybody ACTUALLY doing “BVR” in this game is genuinely and legitimately just roleplaying out what IRL is like, because it sure as rain isn’t effective in game.

BVR is fine even ig, i almost exclusively launch AMRAAM at 40-50 km,and MICA at 30 and below. Fakours at 60-70. Also dont forget all ARH seekers except MICA and Phoenix are same.

It is PIDS just not the same one the AM has

Nope. About 95% ineffective and only works when the other guy has no idea what he’s doing. It is a tactic that relies PURELY and EXCLUSIVELY on the other jet to play badly to have a positive outcome for you.

PIDS, which reduces the missile count from 6 to 4.
And currently PIDS doesn’t allow the use of rockets in-game either.
So it’s only real use case is air RB napalm runs.

Also not a double standard.

Please, expand your vocabulary. the same buzzwords for things that don’t fit is old.
There are many more words you can use than ones tied to those.

“F-16C Block 50 not getting PIDS is unfair to me. I feel weapons being suggestions benefits aircraft that aren’t in a healthy spot statistically.” - Hypothetical statement.

It doesn’t, it has STD-1760 compatibility so it can take the LAU-129.

Only due to arbitrary restrictions created by Gaijin.

It is, look at for example;

  • Early MiG-23(s) getting erroneous access to it’s dorsal flare magazine for configurations that did not have them.
  • F-5A & -C having integrated the ALE-40(V).

In both cases they are permitted to retain access why? And so how would the PIDSU being conferred to the “F-16C-50” (it’s not, at this point but besides the point, nor is an intermediary F-16 configuration likely to help resolve issues).

I shouldn’t have to point out that it retains the AIM-7, and has access to the GBU-39, GBU-62 / -64 and APKWS II somehow. While lacking items like the L-JDAM (GBU-54), and assorted JDAM configurations.

Problem with compression, the EFT and Rafale shit on it so they shouldn’t be the same BR. However the F-15E shits on most things in a downtier.

Early Mig-23s don’t have access to dorsal flare magazines.
It’s exclusively on the late Mig-23ML platforms.

F-5A/C don’t have integrated flares, they have the add-on as stated by the manufacturer.

BOL is a selective balancing and appeal addition, it is designed to make certain airframes niche with a higher CM count (often at the cost of something else, eg. Finnish hornet has no real FnF CAS), if it were dished out to everything compatible then so should weapon systems, as a means of appeal
