Is US top tier too weak

You can thank me later for correcting your misinformation any time. The shot hit the very top edge of the LFP.

Lies born of either malice or lack of experience. Even up to 2KM (a range which is all too uncommon in this ‘realistic’ game) the UFP of the CR2 fails to defend against 3BM60

38mm of RHA would realistically crumple against modern apfsds. If you want to play the realism angle, you need to accept that reality.

What are you even trying at this point?

Yes thank you for further proving my point. Anything else?

I know that you are against block ppl, but some just needed to be blocked or you be falling in theirs low baits and help derail the topic

That, unfortunately IS the LFP because le volumetric. It hit where the plates meet. The round penetrated the top of the LFP, and normalizes, gutting the crew.

not a very good tier list

This one is much better. Depending on playstyle, type-10/tkx can be number 1

I suppose this was a LFP hit too, even though the optics are highlighted from the impact;

I just gotta ignore them, but without blocking- blocking would only prevent me from flagging and reporting when it is necessary (AKA when heavy harassment begins, as happens every few days). Not being able to see things doesn’t make them happening on your back any better, hahah. Quite the opposite.

You can pen the very front edge of the drivers hatch, that isn’t the UFP. Also I suspect this server replay is gone by now but I will happily check.

Maybe you should record videos from the server replay since it means your disinformation won’t work as well.

Delusional the M1A2 and M1A2 SEP should be just above the BVM and 90M, the Challenger 2E, black night and Cr2 LEP should be below the Leclerc and the VT-4A1 should be equal to the 2A5

The driver hatch on top of the UFP… is not UFP…?

For your information, the whole UFP is a single plate. The “driver hatch” is not modelled, as it is on the Leopards, for example, so there are no “edges” to pen. Check armor viewer.

You hit the optics, of course it will pen here. Again, volumetric probably has something to do with this.

Optics are always fucky, if you aim at the UFP and not the optics it’ll bounce 90% of the time

I’ll take randomly pennable optics over Koshkin’s black holes)))) any day.

Unfortunately this screenshot much as I expected is so old that it doesn’t appear in server replays and most certainly taken client side so this image is worth next to nothing as far as proving any sort of point goes.

I recommend recording server side videos in the future, as much as that might get in the way of cherrypicking.

Compression, premium pack children and the US overall having some of the worst pilots in the game makes for a lot of pain.

In ground, the US tree at low tiers suffers similarly to but not as severely as Germany from new players, mid-tier is not very good (because American Cold War tanks were just awful in the design there’s no other way to put it) and top tier was completely ruined by the clickbait. Ive stopped playing top tier in its entirety because I either lose because my team is all clickbait noobs or I get kicked to death by fuji players.

Allthough I must say the US tree probably has the strongest air tree overall by a landslide, its not far behind the British props in performance at low to mid-tier, curb stomps with the Korean war era planes and anyone that’s bared witness to a hail of 30 AIM 54s knows that the F14 is the 12.3-12.7 meta in its entirety.

I don’t think the US tree has any really notable issues beyond bad premium players and BR compression, neither are unique to the nation

So the UFP is an auto ricochet…

Unless you hit the optics.
Or unless you hit the front edge.
Or unless you hit the thinner front upper plate.
Or unless you hit it from a slightly higher position.
Or unless the Abrams is sloped 1° downwards.
Or unless you are aiming down from point-blank range (which is what most maps lead to).
Or unless the shot falls into the 15% chances it won’t bounce even in perfect conditions.
Or unless, basically, you aren’t hitting it on perfectly flat LOS conditions.

That, by definition, is not “an immune auto-ricochet” zone. It’s more of a lottery zone.

Not to mention all the occasions where these ricochets lead to full turret crew death because the bouncing shell hits the 50mm thick center of mass, one of the reasons why we want it fixed to a volumetric model with proper thickness.
