I agree. And if they want to follow the “No fake tanks” rules when they consider adding vehicles, those three should have been the last ones they added and have left them in the tree. Because frankly, it is just a game like someone said above earlier in the thread, and its sucks and is B.S to those who weren’t able to play back then.

IMO I don’t think that’d be too fair tho, they should either update the models for everyone like they did with the CV90105 or just leave the current models from before…

Why? Just renaming them and making them seasonal vehicles means everyone gets the chance to get them eventually, while still keeping them somewhat rare. Like in 2025 you could grind the Panther II (Gaijin) and in 2026 you could grind the Tiger II 105 (Gaijin). Better than never getting those vehicles anymore.

For the historical purists (like me) the Panther II('s) in the tech tree would be the partial prototypes with the proposed turrets.

Ohhh im sorry, yes. I misread what you said. If its seasonal vehicles like that than absolutley, where they do come once a year. I thought you meant let the people who got them keep the original version, while new players or people who missed out, would grind out a different version.

No it doesn’t - the Panther II project had been cancelled before the turret was even started.

A Panther 2 hull with some other turret that was supposed to be put on it would be fine - the one removed from the game is a fantasy concoction.

Sigh.
In case you are still not aware, even if the turret never existed, the hull did.
And the blueprints for the turret did.
Hence, they fulfil the criteria for suggestions made by gaijin.
Check for yourself.

He’s saying the Panther II as currently implemented is fake.

  • Wrong gun. Different project, Panther 8.8cm not Panther II.
  • Wrong turret. Schmalturm was made after Panther II was cancelled and was only intended to be fitted to regular Panther’s.
  • NVD. As above, was made after Panther II was cancelled and only intended to be fitted to regular Panther’s.
  • Wrong engine. The HL234 was never fitted to Panther II. Only the HL230 was.

We know of 2 turrets designed for Panther II, either of those would be fine to come into the game. Because the Panther II hull being built is enough to fulfill the partial prototype category.
