Is there any reason for fighter to take bombs?

So explaining further i am the one chosen, whose first 10.3 is F-105. And being stock is goddamn torture. No chaffs(anti IR), no maneuverability, high stall speed e.t.c. So every battle i see 1-3 fighter stealing bases from strikers. Is this on purpose? They just make their lifes and strikers lives useless in battle… Every battle is lost. I am tired guys((((

Because fighters are faster and bombers on the whole are overtiered.

Ehm, but you DO know what a F-105 is and what it was mainly used for?

the f105 is not a fighter, despite the designation F.
It is designed as a fighter bomber. Maybe seen as a smaller predesessor of the B1.
So like the Tornado, who only got adapted to be used as a fighter, bc the brits didn’t have anything better.

of course! As it should be, and that is the main thing i mentioned. I try use F-105 as striker-bomber, but fighters and other bomber much faster. Anyway in sum i told that F-105 can’t catch up to fighters carrying bombs, so once you approach enemy bases they are already damaged or usually destroyed)

I think people didn’t understand me clearly. I told about fighter carrying bombs much faster than F-105, so again

Tbh they should just make bases come back faster.

you need to wait for the bases to respawn. Use your top speed to stay away from enemies

or have all bases spawn in the beginning, not only 4.

Or just bring back airfield bombing

Completely agree, but still there is second wave of bombers like A-10 or Su-25. Its challenging to compete among teammates and avoid enemies with 30g IR all-aspect missiles

The reason is simply that they are faster :)
For average air RB players, base bombing is not only more easy (or say braindead) but also more rewarded and effective way of grinding aircrafts, compared to doing actual airfight.
