Is there a reason for the Radkampfwagen 90 to be at 10.0?

Hi there everyone,
I was playing Germany and noticed that the Radkampfwagen 90, compared to other wheeled vehicles with similar stats, is sitting way higher, without thermals, at 10.0.
Is there any reason for that?

Compared to something similar like the Type 16P, which does have thermals and an LWS/LEM at 9.3, it’s honestly just worse. The Italian Centauro I 105 is also sitting at 9.3, has thermals as well, and even DM23 APFSDS — and all of these have the same 105 mm gun. Even the Chinese PTL02 at 9.0 comes with a 100 mm gun, a laser rangefinder, and thermals.
Meanwhile, the Radkampfwagen 90 basically gets punished for… what exactly?

Yes, it has the DM33 APFSDS dart, but that doesn’t help a lot either. The Schottenpanzerung (layered armor plates) only helps against small cannon fire, but not really against APFSDS. And on top of everything, the Radkampfwagen is really big. Another huge downside is the extremely slow turret traverse of only 16.8°/sec (max = 24.0°/sec), which just makes the whole thing feel even worse at 10.0.

What are your thoughts?

DM33 with its mobility and survivability for a light vehicle is the only reason.

it can die to 7.62 mgs and is very tall with no gun depression

the 9.3 centauro 105 i feel is a bad comparison, the VRCC at 9.7 with gen 2 thermals and dm33 would be a better comparison
