He doesn’t want to recognise this, while he keeps comparing the Rad to IFV he has never played. Troll topic at best.
Yeah, not recognizing how the Rad90 can basically push most 25mm to 30mm IFVs for free and expect to take minimal damage is questionable. Everything else has to run for hard cover, Rad90 can just tank it without difficulty.
- Push flank in ZLT11
- Not that fast and giga massive
- Suddenly tonk
- Gunner dies to .50
- Does not have commander fire control
- No reverse
- Die
At least I have thermals 👍
Rad 90 would be so much worse
has the thickest paper as armor
i play the ct-cv 105hp it got the same firepower, thermals, laser warning and a 5 sec autoloader and it’s equally fast.
Rad90 can resist 30mm AP and APDS without issue from the side at distance, that is not true for literally any other wheeled tank in the game. If Rad90 is made of paper then the others are made of air. Questionable response to a confirmed advantage of the Rad90.
And at just 0.3 BR above is the MGS, with essentially just as good mobility while having 10 times more features than the Radkampf. It’s crazy.
overtiered german vehicle as usual…
same with those:
BTR = Luchs
ZSU / M163 = Wiesel
lol
so it got a better chance against stock/nearly stock bmps? This isn’t much.
Is that protection in the room with us? Wanna tell that to the Rad I nuked at 1.2km with my ZA-35?
Or wanna tell that to the countless Rads I melted in the Falcon? Two days ago I added a Rad to my wall with the Badger’s 30mm APFSDS. I’ve seen them die to .50 cals. Its only got 26mm of armour at best, and if you’re shooting at the turret you’re doing it wrong, always aim at the hull, your rounds will find its ammo before it can respond.
Superior gunner sight magnification at 15.9x, ideal for sniper role, Leopard 2k has the same optical zoom level which makes them the deadliest snipers duo at 10.0.
DM33 + armor to not be eaten alive with BMP-2 + survivability that it has for some reason.
the wiesel is good where it is
You’re absolutely right. Such a big mobility advanatge is way more significant than thermals, which are situational. And it has impact on all maps, not only the ones with dense forests and long sightlines (which are about 50% or less of the map pool)
