What’s so different about the high and fast air superiority though?
on the ground, at sea, and at lower altitudes it’s certainly very different but what happened with regular air superiority?
It looks to me it’s the conflict of ‘cheap but it just works’ stuff, even on the high and fast aspect of air combat. People are just gonna keep their planes outside any possible swarm of modern missiles.

Surely they won’t mind sending the F35s to the fronts, then.
I’m under no illusion that a F22, J20 or SU57 won’t be shot down if sent near ‘ground zero’, it happened to Leopards 2, Abrams, F117s, and it’ll happen to whatever you send there.
It still gives an opportunity for Russia to collect data on the F-35’s, so your point is only partially true.

Israel gets complete air superiority wherever it flies, so they don’t need to adopt a cautious strategy like Russia is
They do though, F-35Is played a crucial role in the Iran strikes, qatar strikes and have completed hundreds of sorties over Lebanon

Hard to argue with that. But the point is that Israel, despite not having a land border with Iran, was able to take out its air defenses and strategic targets, something the RuAF somehow can’t do.

Bad comparison USA+Israel one suprise attack against Iran that doesn’t have any satellites and prolongued conflict with wide assistance of NATO.
This assistance began only when the conflict had already entered a prolonged phase. Everything that opposed the RuAF until the autumn of 2022 consisted of old Soviet air-defense systems from the 1980s, whose characteristics were thoroughly known to Russia. Naturally, the Israeli F-35s in Iran faced much more modern air defenses, and their mission was far more difficult.
