Is the Su-57 really worse than the F-22?

TSMC production in US has overtaken their Taiwan facilities, your news is old

this is the ravings of a delusional lunatic madman

I agree. Flight crew manning is slower than aircraft production, after all

every F-35 pilot has the most advanced helmet in the world, if there is one thing the Su-57 is inarguably behind on, it is this

So they don’t have the “very high efficiency” you were claiming then? Thank you for clarifying, because a “very high efficency” DIRCM should be able to stop an Igla 99.99% of the time, yet they don’t. And trust me, theres not enough Iglas in the world to explain the high rate of loses through these extremely unlikely system failures akin to a “very high efficency” APS.

The other question is, does this helmet really need it?

one of the most import parts is serving information to the pilot, this is a concept the F-35 is essentially built around, and is very important, if a pilot does not receive the information his plane does then the plane may as well not have received this at all, nothing conveys information better than a display directly inside the helmet

However, the pilot may be overloaded with this information. Secondly the helmet is not so light and puts a lot of strain on the neck. Now air battles are all about see-saw, capture, fire missile, turn away. In the confrontation between the F-35 and the Su-57 there are roughly equal options if there is no R-37M. The F-35 has a slightly smaller RCS, the Su-57 has a more powerful radar and flight data.

I think we should not be eager to find out which plane wins in direct confrontation regardless of opinions on what vehicles

Hello, just a friendly reminder guys to stay on topic to the post, keep person quarrels to DMs, and do not insult / put down members.

Thank you!

I hope so but you never know with this kind of thing

Open data only.
Zaslon-M - detection of 5 m2 at a distance of 180 km.
AN/APG-80 - ~165km

It have. Very high == 100%

The system saved the helicopter from 15 stinger launches, only after the falres ended it was able to be shot down.
Stop coping pls.

More yes than no. The more situational awareness the better.
Another thing is that all the stories about the “augmented reality F-35” are fairy tales.

cope

Oh yeah? You got a source or that?

Nah, I already know you don’t. You’re just spinning wheels.

It’s not a fairy tale, there’s a video of a helmet demonstration. The other question is how reliable it is

Get a VPN for a country outside of russia and search for “ka-52 igla”. You ignoring the multiple shot down helis because your DIRCM is a complete failure doesn’t make it good.
Stop coping Ivan.

Wanna know what’s extra funny? Is that the large majority of their hardware became combat losses because of malfunctions or breakdowns.

So much for being a mighty military that’s been part of a country that’s been economically broke for over half a century. A nation’s army in such a condition cannot create nor field any military hardware that is advanced nor up to date. It’s all just smoke and mirrors.

Cute flag, btw. Doesn’t do anything to actually disprove what I’ve said, not that anyone can anyways because it’s the pure, unfiltered truth.

I don’t think they are planning to play AAA titles on it

If you live in an echo chamber and believe everything they say on TV, it doesn’t mean you’re right.
The “Prezident-M” system works and does it very good.

Right back at you ivan. Get a vpn and search for the videos. Stop believing everything rt, sputnik and tass tells you and start thinking for yourself. I’d love to post them but the mods aren’t too fond of them for “reasons”.

Stop coping amd watch the videos. Your “most modern” helicopters are getting massacred by decades old missiles with video proof of it. Leave your echo chamber and actually watch the videos. Your ignorance doesn’t make you right.
