This doesn’t matter. Air RB is chaotic and it takes very little skill to win over your opponent as long as you have the skill advantage. The Gripen is at worst SLIGHTLY worse than the 14.0 jets regarding the current state of compression, and its faults are EASILY gotten over with just a MODICUM of skill.

LOL, I have a few planes at 12.7 ON UP, that a year ago, were pretty good. But here in the last year, they indeed have become WORTHLESS, sitting in the hanger. When I feel like flying them, because I love them, I use them like Microsoft Flight Simulator, lol, and fly them on our now good test flight field.

Personally, I will say this, the JF 17 doesnt have a high missile count, but I dont do badly in it, Lets just say Im luckily not one to last only 2 minutes in a BR 13 on up battle.
But I work a lot of hours and cant spend time practicing notching at altitude either. But experience since BETA days and a little research on Youtube hasnt done me bad.
I dont have a problem with the Gripens missile count, Im going to get 3 or 4 airkills in a battle, Im not one of the great ones who smoke 5-8 in a battle.
Gripen sounds good to me, Im two planes away from one, and so I cant test fly it yet, but the test flights tell me a lot about its handling, and thrust. And the radars ability to lock, some planes cant even lock on test drones.

Which country has the strongest Gripen mate? I dont need to dominate, Im some what of a fine art expert lol, and that plane looks like a good plane thats a mental challenge to figure out how to be successful in.

Only Sweden gets the Gripen A at 13.0 which is unique gameplay
But the Gripen C in Sweden, Italy and Japan are essentially identical.
The strongest of course will be the Gripen E which might come next major for Sweden
You ought to give the JF 17 a try mate, no HMD, but its ACM locks very quickly. I will estimate that if I fire an S10 at a plane from 17km or so in, Ive had success with it 92% of the time, but I do choose wisely, if you know what I mean, (angles), as Im sure you do.

What do you do when youve played, say 8-10 battles in a row with teammates that got smashed in the first two minutes, and then maybe its you and one or two mates versus about 8-10 planes?
You need to look a little deeper, guaranteed, when you look at stats. Everything is as it doesnt appear.
Im a traveling nurse, and so lets think about 4 months in a hotel with 3 upload and 3 download internet speeds…those are things that a lot of “Stat People” dont think about.

Considering that there is no baseline for EW in game, that and they seemingly didn’t even implement the RAM coating for the F-117 likely cause its a meme vehicle they added to make the trailer for the update look cool
makes me think that if they did in fact add the E variant anytime soon that it would very likely be lacking the EW suite “for balance”, or in potentially worse terms could be done in such a way that it would be severely neutered or improperly implemented to be fixed at a later date 3 years after addition.
I think such a thing should be added alongside other nations variants of EW as it will mean far more people “bug testing” the feature and would likely make it far more likely to actually be done right.

In term of the thread the C variant is a good plane, it’s just not a part of the top tier meta.

I play top tier air tournaments constantly so i literally practice quite a lot in 13.7 planes, the gripen is only good at being a missile magnet and evading missiles, and will die as soon as it is against something that has more than 4 FOX-3.

I took the typhoon out for the first time in months, only have aim9L and two amraams and I was able to rack 4 kills incredibly easily just because I’m faster, more agile and able to be more aggressive than all else. I feel bad for those suffering their way up when a prop fighter main can sealclub them (with a hardly functional radar so unreliable that I only use HMD now)
Id certainly do better in a rafale due to it being endlessly buffed to overperformance and having the best FOX-2 missiles currently in game but even in second best its pretty damn easy.

I have four amraams, S10s (Chinese) in the JF 17. And two really good IRs, and so thats the choice you make when you fly it.
And so youre not going to come into a battle, say like if you were in an F15 and fire off a few, what shall we call it, “warning shots”, “pot shots”
Thats the good thing about that JF 17 or any other plane with only “4” aaraams, you have to pick well, and watch their angles. How many aamraams does my Me109 have? None
And so when we have worked our way up through some pretty trash planes into BR 13 or so, maybe a little higher than that, any stock plane with maybe 2 aamraams should be able to do some damage…but then again, Ive been playing since Beta, and Im not from the “Call of Duty” generation,
