Been stuck on whether to buy it or not during these sales
I do not own the OES, but I have played the TES, which for all intents and purposes is the near identical tech tree counterpart
Whilst it’s not my place to tell you what to do with your time or money, I will share that I thoroughly disliked my experience in TES, and regarded it as the worst Challenger 2 ingame, and there’s a strong argument it may even be the weakest VII MBT of any nation ingame.
The mobility is atrocious (Worst in class by a mile), L27 is one of the weaker darts at top tier (possibly even the weakest now?), The weak-spots are gigantic and the post pen survivability is very poor due the charge bins scattered everywhere. I basically felt like i was driving around in a 75 ton RP Pinata.
In my opinion, there are much more enjoyable options available when it comes to British premiums. Rooikat 105 for example is great fun. Depending on how far you are in the tech tree, there’s lots of good options for buying a Talisman on too.

It’s the worst of the challenger 2 variants which are already lacklustre. The only positive is that you get to skip the stock grind that the tech tree variant has.
If you want to grind the UK you would be better off getting the challenger DS.
