Same. All in all, as the meme goes, “your game is bad, you should feel bad”. Seriously, I might have nostalgia for old games, but I never saw this many bugs and glitches in old Call of Duty games, Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition, God of War 1-3, any of the old Lego games, Resident Evil, Left 4 Dead 1 and 2, the funny Temple game with the pixel chick, or any of my childhood games. Honestly, the fact there are so many bugs is reason alone to allow console players the ability to play Realistic and Sim with crossplay disabled.
To be honest, the general vibe I get from your topics and comments is more along the lines of “I feel bad, therefor the game is bad, and you should feel bad too”. I’m not a psychologist and I assume you know better than to take anything I say too seriously but I get the feeling that you’ve invested a fair bit of time into this game, and at somepoint along the way you stopped having fun but continued to play out of habit or some other reason, and it’s making you bitter and resentful. It’s easier to assume that the game changed for the worse as opposed to you changing and no longer finding the game enjoyable.
War Thunder has good things and it has bad things, but it rarely deserves all the abuse and backlash it gets because some people aren’t having as much fun as they think they should be.
P.S. I’m not trying to stick up for the game or defend it, it’s just that It’s almost impossible to have interesting and productive conversations about the game, it’s features, ideas and concepts when so many people insist on dragging it down into the shitty muck of unfulfilled dreams and resentment

Is the battle pass worth it? Doesn’t that simply translate to the question:
Can you afford the battle pass and actually buy it?
Imho, this is more a question of what is asked from me for what result. The 2000 GE are to me the least part of what is requested for the pass. I could have gotten it for free, but I didn’t feel like making the contribution time wise.
And here opinions may differ widely. I’d go for a rank3 3.0 plane anytime. Much better to me than a modern dutch light tank. I also like the new french boat reward. But in terms of value:
These things cost like 5 Gjn in the market. Why bother with the pass?
If you afford the pass regularly, you probably buy premium at the annual or semi-annual price. So it is worth about 200 GE. That is not a game changer.
Only that you often have them all. And the talismans rarely land where they are appreciated.
Of course, for a relatively new player, the pass may well be worth it. But personally, I just don’t like to commit the time when there is nothing in it that I want that I couldn’t get without committing the time.

One thing I haven’t been able to get out of my mind about battle passes as a whole, War Thunder in particular is that they’re essentially short selling us. They actively betting on player sunken cost, and having to shell out additional money to finish the battle pass that they already paid for.
Depends on what you’re hoping to get from it. The vehicle rewards are lazy garbage. The trophy box has a couple of decent vehicles. The warbond shop has rank III this time, some of which are pretty good, along with bushes. But comparing this battle pass’ rewards to seasons 1-6, it’s complete and utter trash.
Oh no, you hit it on the head. I invested too much time, have too much too tiers, and now I’m bored and have nothing else to fall back on since all my friends play War Thunder. It just sucks that there’s no good documentaries that I want to watch.
I don’t quite see it that way as one can simply wait to have reached “the objective” and then buy. This is usually what I do.

From my perspective, free part of this BP fulfills my needs: bush crate plus french curiosity taken on the way.
So it is worth it. At least for me. And it is worth my time, not my money.
Me too. I buy when i am in range for the reward and always the one with the extra points, so i won’t stay too long playing objectives that i may not even have time to care for.
Except if i am too sure that i want the reward. Then i buy intsantly.
This battle pass i’ll probably buy instantly , because i think i can pair the T-44 with T-V and grind Soviets up to t5 from the start (i haven’t touch their Ground Vehicles) . Even if i won’t do it now , it will still have a use to grind it.
Now for people that already play higher, i don’t see any use.
Amiens, t3 premium … Depends. I don’t know. BR. 3.0 is …ok ,most of the times. However, you’ll see destroyer games.
The crate, i don’t want it to be TANDEM MAI , because i won’t ever play it anyway.
Matilda and Garland …ok , i may play them at some point, still grinding lows in their trees.
Detroit . I don’t know. I mean i have line ups to use it, though i don’t play heavier than destroyers , i just don’t like their gameplay.
Though , it will be a good reason to buy Moffet with WBs. I have Knox already , but i’ll spare her stats and i could play a solid 5.0 with Detroit and Moffet. Not too high, and it’s a premium line-up so …money printer.
Yeah, i think the best “luck” for me is Detroit and buy Moffet.
And the small choice , M3A3 for China. The other 2 , Chaika and MGB-75 won’t help me do anything. M3A3 i can go China t3 at least.
The big WB choice, either KV or Moffet . I’m leaning to Moffet for the reason i said. If the crate gives any other thing , i’ll take KV.
The “duck” won’t help me, i’m way past it and i don’t think it would help even if i wasn’t. Maybe, CAS Italy low tier…it has very low BR 2.3 for t3 so you can pick it for teaming with t2 ground vehicles. Not my choice , because all the other reasons though.
That’s how i see it and most likely my review for the vehicles.
People in general tend to forget that not anyone plays t15 in everything. Some times i do , too.
But i don’t see it as a bad deal for BP. Except if you already done with the grinds in general.
This is a battle pass that I will not only completely avoid, but I will actively tell those of my friend that might even slightly interested to stay away. I wish Gaijin would learn this. Its one thing to constantly give out copy pasta. Its another to keep cramming boats down our throat that many dont even want. But now there is only a CHANCE at a plane and a yet another soviet tank. Its been sad for a while. Now its kind of insulting. Battle Pass? More like Hard Pass!

I won’t say this BP is copy-paste, but man, a T-44? Wasn’t there anything more interesting to add?
The battlepass hasn’t been worth it for a long time.
Even if the rewards were good, the progression was abysmal.
It was non-functional in long-game modes (due to how easy task must be “Get Reward”-ed before starting medium task, if you play a 2 hour long match you’ll only complete the easy one).
It encouraged anti-social behaviour (“Get 3 kills in 5 battles in heavy tank!” “Ok, I get 3 kills and ODL and re-queue because I want to get it over with asap.”)
And it was FOMO - you could not save up time to go wild on a weekend. You had to log in every day to progress it.
The fact that paid battlepass and f2p battlepass were the same difficulty to progress was absurd.
I could maybe understand the F2P variant having FOMO and bad tasks.
But people who actually bought it?
It should’ve had catch-up tasks so they can knock out a week’s worth over a weekend and
It should’ve had a “get 10k score and qualify for 5 BP levels”.
As it is right now, all the battlepass does is ruin your enjoyment of the game.
You have to answer to yourself: Is your time, effort and mood worth wasting on completing the tasks?
