Is the A-10C good for Nuclear Escalation?

I recently started using the F-111F for ground attack in nuclear escalation as a part of my 12.0 lineup for the mode. Is the A-10C worth training a crew and unlocking modifications for in this mode?

idk but since you got the F111F I heard a F15E is really good for NE and I’ve seen it too f15Es pulling 50 ground kills

I’m also sure there is a reason I don’t see A10s in NE the speed and no ARMS or fox1-3 is probably why but if you enjoy that I don’t see the issue

but you do get 24 gbu39s so that’s pretty good you can try the f15E methods but will lack the speed and fox3s

A-10C is one of the best options USA gets especially if you drop your lineup slightly to 11.7 max to guarantee you don’t get possibly dragged into S-300/2S6. It can bring an absolutely massive + diverse payload that can deal with almost anything. Only downside is low speed.

No.

Its too slow to make proper use of the standoff weapons, you need to be much closer to launch your mavericks or glide bombs than a supersonic fighter, and all your munitions will be way too slow and get easily swatted by the AA even if you spam a lot of them.

And you waste a lot of time going back and forth from the airfield compared to a fighter jet

Ya and got sniped down right after came to the battlefield bahahaha

Yea pretty much. It was just really annoying in ARB but its a whole level better for NE as everyones stuck at low alts where you have a major edge.

lowest aim-9M aircraft (i believe) so you have missiles basically impossible to flare while you can flare and chaff everything.

six maverics and a load of GBU39 glide bombs too, you have a brilliant arsenal while being pretty safe from everything but the garanteed death AI SPAAs.

You are the slowest thing in the battle but that can be an advantage. youre very easy to overshoot on and you turn tighter than they do. a 9M that close is not escapable
