I’d argue, to the average new war thunder player that the soviet flag is more recognisable than the RusFed flag, whereas the nazi german flag and imperial japanese ensign are less recognisable to most people

Your response to me talks about how modern Russia is influenced heavily from USSR cause of them inherenting of their industry. That being said if you want to point to the Modern Russian equipment being fine for USSR cause “equivalence” you could make the same argument the Firefly is American.

We can recognize that the USSR and Russia is 2 different nations. That being said if they are 2 different nations there is going to be a cut off of equivalence. Is the SU-57 Soviet? We are heading down the line to that and people already have had it’s suggestion pushed to the devs.

No, I believe it has something to do with the monarchy. It was removed after WW2 because Italy became a republic, I believe.
It was used for some time before WW2
