I like F-5 aircraft, its agile fighter and i like using it but is TCU version still good since it placed in 13.0 where enemy aircraft definitely way more manuverable/agile. Also the missile armament is only 4 missile, havent tried derby but im sure its definitely good but i think the number of missile for me at that br is not enough. Should I grind it?

derby and darter are clones and are completely useless. The only airframe it was good on was event plane kfir c.10 because it was 13.0 (now 13.3) with 4x derby (not 2x) and you could go 1800kph at start of match, which is impossible in the TCU junker.
It’s a plane that’s severely hampered by the lack of ordnance. Even aircraft .3 BR higher are a nightmare to fight as you run out of missiles practically instantly ( god forbid you see uptiers to 14.0, you will get mauled).
If you do decide to pick it up ( no reason to, trust me), you’ll have to play it at the sidelines, isolating opponents. Any main line engagements will get you wrecked.
If the MM decompresses it might be worth picking up but I highly doubt that’ll ever happen.

Your main way of getting kills will still be your guns and considering you lose one, it isn’t great
