IR Countermeasures (LAIRCM/CIRCM) for US Attack Helicopters

Since the new patch will give Soviet and Chinese helicopters a new LAIRCM, why not give this mechanic to other helicopters? Do US helicopters have AN/AAQ-24 and AN/AAQ-45?
These LAIRCM systems are on the AH-64D (Experimental) and AH-1Z, as well as on the UH-60. Give other countries helicopter protection capabilities.

In addition, AN/AAQ-24 and AN/AAQ-45 are export models and all information is publicly available.

If it works against SPIKE’s, I couldn’t care less…

(To make myself clear, I mean if it stops spikes from being able to track you, and/or go off rampant, I will happily accept it)

that sounds like a great idea to level the field more

This is a good addition to be honest, since US Helicopters are totally forgotten and hellfires are useless.

Russia still has CAS but of course that doesn’t affect you if you always play on the side that has the KH-38s, Ka-52s and the Pantsir

Kh-38 when a tank moved behind a building or smoke:

Pantsir when you sit on the deck:

‘Muh Ka-52’ when it forgets that it has titanium armor around all important systems and a single .50 cal round from an Abrams grazes its Cockpit Avionics:

Funny how CAS only became a problem when Kh-38 and KA-52 where introduced and started doing the same thing USA and German CAS HAD BEEN DOING FOR YEARS ALREADY… not so much fun when the boot is on the other foot is it?
Do you honestly think that after years of USA mains telling me dying to Mavs and pavways in my type 93 was a “skill issue” I’m going to find their crying over Kh-38s anything other than hilarious?

Same applies to every single other weapon in game. The diffrence is when the target is acutally visible but I digress

Helis without fnf missiles have been irrevalant for anyone that isnt extremely skilled with them on certain maps like vietnam for a very long time, new systems wont change they are free kills for saclos sams and large pf/vt rounds, or eternally unable to guide missiles in.

Yeah, it’s either guide it in and die, or sit behind and above the mountain and drop down if you have to, best strat with the Ka-50.

That’s my point

So this means that we don’t give a heli it’s irl stuff because Russia needs to dominate. Nice. Pretty balanced opinion

But we do agree that the Russian stuff is better if we put all ordnance in the same situation?

LOL SPAAs don’t even have their lead calculation that should be on every single one with a commander position… but CAS is missing X feature
cry me a river

They each have dominance in their own situations, probably because they were designed by different countries for different purposes, but that’s just a theory.

USA and Israel get Walleyes at 9.7, Germany gets Mavs at 9.7… Russia gets its first F&F at what BR again? 11.0… CLEARLY RUSSIAN BIAS!

Not to mention early helicopters for Russia is hell, they (the Mi-24A) have high speed, and that’s it. And the Mi-4 without buying the Matlyuka with GE, is, unholy amounts of ass.

Late helicopters are alright, but the optics on the mid range ones, like the Mi-24V/P with the Shturm are just, painful.

Late helos compensate for the absolute hell of the earlies though.

So you believe that there is a Russian bias? Interesting, although i don’t find that to be true

And let’s be brutal, the KAB-500, or any similar Russian TV weapons are bad, because they can lock a tank, but they don’t track the tank like American GBU’s

If they have that, they should get that. Have i told you that i don’t want the spaa to be accurate?
