Well the comparsion is bit lame/useless tho. Whats the point of comparing actuall mm of armour not taking into account slopes and stuff. Or whats the point of comparing size of guns insted of their performance/penetration ?
Tbh, it would be better if it was possible to compare armaments.
For example, being able to compare missiles from aircrafts, or being able to compare cannons and their ammunition on tanks.
Example, comparison of AIM-9B vs R-3S, or the APFSDS (DM33 vs DM53) on the Rh-120 L/44,
Absence of “Usage” section for new players is really bad.
Aircraft belts - no shell weight, no muzzle velocity, no explosive filler. I have to start the game to get such info. Why did you remove detailed ammo data?
Do you mean this?
Yes. How do I get to this page without the hyperlink?
Also this doesn’t have pages for individual updates.
Thanks. Btw it makes no sense to be under “Mechanics”.
It honestly doesn’t really fit under any of those categories.
Also, you can press the little icons at the top right of the update image to go to the News post about it as well as listing all the vehicles that came with that specific update.
For those who care, the creator of the WT custom tree maker updated the “clone wiki” feature to the newest version, and in doing so it now allows for the copying of all vehicle battle ratings into the tool.
I know many who use this tool prefer to create trees from scratch, but hopefully this update will make it simpler to modify existing ones for the nations we have already.

When will you add it back? Its allways interesting to see potential performance of suggested armarment, as well as how are we suppost to backcheck in game values for Historical and bug reporting?
We need the calculator back.
On homepage of wiki, can the vehicle branches be reordered please?
When I open wiki on the phone, the first 3 branches I see are Coastal Fleet, Aviation, Helicopters. So I always have to swipe for Ground.
Aviation is alright, but Ground vehicles should be also first thing to show instead of Coastal Fleet or Helicopters imo.
It would be a small improvement, but very frequently used.
The magnifier button in bottom left corner when looking at specific tech tree is hidden behind cookies settings icon
EDIT: now fixed, thanks:)
That would just be an argument for it, not against it, since if you gotta unlock the mods you don’t really need, you still have to play the vehicle for a while and get more experience with it.
Just because you unlocked all performance upgrades doesn’t mean you immediately know everything about the vehicle.
A little sad that this removed the engine analytics page, now it simply shows what the model of the engine is without extra information.
Same with secondary loadouts… I hope something more intuitive than a basic spreadsheet comes out.
Not really, you could play 1000 games in a vehicle and still not know everything, or you could have played 0 and know everything about it because you have played an equivalent vehicle. How it is now is fine, now that it works.
Can’t find awards description/criteria in this new wiki. It seem it hasn’t been migrated from old wiki
https://old-wiki.warthunder.com/Awards
Now, we only have some generic nonsense - [Navigation] Awards and Achievements | War Thunder Wiki
Also, there is no search field on main page
It seems to have been migrated now:
(Scouting | War Thunder Wiki)
(Missing the vehicle list though, i hope it gets added as a feature you can filter by later)
Is this serius?
add history? why ? i dont want to add history, my post is about the performance of the vehicle and the features, weapon and playstyle ingame… is this a game wiki or not? i dont get it… if i want to know about the history of the tank i go into a tank wiki and not a game wiki…
also why more detailed? i dont write the wiki… i write a post about it, summarising how to use it, how it performs ingame, how it works, what it can and can not do, what to look out for and so on… why does it need to be detailed?
was hoping that this new “feature” will allow people to publish ingame performance and how to use it, like we had in the old wiki… but it seems to get blocked?!
