On the topic of the Wiki Share Program, I applied months ago, but never received any response. I would recommend that the backlog and new applicants be sorted through.

Since that system is going away i’m guessing that it isn’t going to be looked at further at all.

I assume you are using the data from AMX in Rank VII in Italy Tech Tree. Found the matching data.

If the data you want to be included are also displayed in the new wiki, it would most likely looks like the following mock up.
The mock up is done by doing some HTML edit on the existing wiki on the client side, with data hand copied into the mock up.

The mock up:

It seems that the tree cloning function for the custom WT tree creator doesn’t function on the new wiki. While this isn’t Gaijin’s fault, I am aware that many use still use this tool, so I decided to shoot the creator a message on Reddit inquiring about a potential fix.

Here is the new wiki, upon hitting enter an error appears in the console.

Using the same code into the console on the old wiki still works as intended.

It’s just disgusting, the only useful sections are thrown in from the wiki. If earlier in the articles you could see things that could not be found out through the game client, now this is all gone. It’s absolutely useless.

This does not work because you cannot login to the old wiki, I have tried to no avail.

It works now, but sometimes I get some error with “429” message, which prevents me to rate the vehicle, usually a step back to research tree helps with that.

When writing history articles (New | War Thunder Wiki), should swastikas and other symbols on historical photos be censored?

Any chance we’ll get some useful information from wiki like:

  • generation/resolution of TVD
  • information about heli optics
  • rwr - capability matrix what rwr can detect what
  • weapon parameters like seekers, engines etc

Alot cannot be even located in game and needs to be datamined :/

Well the comparsion is bit lame/useless tho. Whats the point of comparing actuall mm of armour not taking into account slopes and stuff. Or whats the point of comparing size of guns insted of their performance/penetration ?

Tbh, it would be better if it was possible to compare armaments.

For example, being able to compare missiles from aircrafts, or being able to compare cannons and their ammunition on tanks.

Example, comparison of AIM-9B vs R-3S, or the APFSDS (DM33 vs DM53) on the Rh-120 L/44,

Absence of “Usage” section for new players is really bad.

Aircraft belts - no shell weight, no muzzle velocity, no explosive filler. I have to start the game to get such info. Why did you remove detailed ammo data?
