His claim, and what he is stating he is getting from our statements, is that IOG is the system that both propels and prioritizes energy retention of a missile.
IOG is an active proponent in a semi-active missile. All it does is store kinematic data, and once the missile loses direct guidance, it will navigate to either hit the last perceived location of a designation point or wherever a target may end up in a given amount of time.
I’m entirely in agreeance here.
Sort of hard to, as what vamilad says is normally unintelligible.
Don’t worry I’ll be a rough translator as I have some experience with him as he does with me.
So Vamilad, here is the above disconnect you and @TheArcticFoxxo had. I just want you to know the IOG is not the main system in charge of the missile. That would be the computer and the laser seeker. IOG comes into full control only when the laser is disabled.
You might of got it already and we are all stupid and this is what I suspect (although a tad bit clearer communication would be appreciated on your side). If you don’t, well it would my pleasure to continue to try and explain it in a fashion that helps you understand.
This didn’t stop them adding Vihkrs YEARS ago. And unlike that missile, the AGM-114L benefits every nation in game except a ‘"certain’" nation. Guess which one that is and why it’s not in game… Curious
