The MiG-29N should have a lower battle rating than the MiG-29SMT because the MiG-29SMT has a better: 1) radar [N010 vs N019E], 2) RWR [L-150 vs SPO-15LM], 3) Guided weapons [Kh-29TD, KAB-500S, KAB-500Kr], 4) The presence of an additional 56 Flare/Chaff.
In the end, the MiG-29N falls short in all aspects, so its battle rating should be lowered to 13.0, as the MiG-29N is essentially a MiG-29A (which is at 12.7) but with RVV-AE(R-77) missiles.
All 13.0 ARH slingers so far either have garbage ARHes (F-14s) or are vastly inferior airframes (Harriers and so on).
The Mig-29A gets 12.7 because of it’s flight performance alone, adding R-77s to it is a massive power boost as, at 13.0 your only actual competitor is the F-4 ICE, which you can run circles around like its nothing.
The solution is decompressing 12.0-14.3. as it stand there is not really a way to move certain vehicles even 0.3 BR’s without either making them useless or overpowered.
funny how you just ignore the better flight performance of the Mig-29N over the Mig-29SMT
just because it dosent fit your argument
this whole post boils down to you wanting to have a single OP plane rather than a mid one and your argument isnt even thought through
so lets oput on our thinking caps:
If the Mig-29N with the r-77 is 13.0 then the Su-27 needs to be 12.7 becasue it would be unfair for it to sit at the same BR as the Mig-29N which gets the r-77
but then the Mig-29A at 12.7 needs to go down to atleast 12.3, becasue it would be unfair for it to sit at the same br as the Su-27 which gets the r-73
and we could keep going with this all the way until we reach 1.0
