anyway, to call Su30/34 FM the most horrific platforms of top tier jets in cotext of GRB (since were in the SPAAs thread) is the real joke here.
not having THE best FM in class in GRB isnt that big of an issue. Saggitario and Ariete both have amazing FMs for their BRs but you would hardly find anyone who would consider them good CAS planes. Same with A-6E - that plane objectively doesnt have good FM but it doesnt affect its ability to perfrom ground strikes in GRB with Skippers.

The Su-30 & Su-34 dont have bad FMs. Sure. not amazing, but far from “bad”. There are far far worse performing aircraft. If the argument is that the Su-34 and Su-30 need KH-38MTs because they have a bad FM. Then the Tornados should have gotten tactical nukes.
Typhoon may have a good FM. But it has by far the weakest AGMs at top tier, missiles so weak that imo, the best weapon is still GBUs.
It is frustrating the Soviets are given a paper weapon that never existed but Britain, italy and Germany are forced to use an early variant of a weapon system they never carried in an artificially nerfed state.

god, imagine the game being interupted every few minutes by the nuke screen, then both teams having to respawn again while the tornado player gets instabanned for teamkilling 15 players.

The hypocricy when it comes to CAS loadouts is staggering. Strangely convenient China was denied the one weapon system that would have actually countered the Pantsir

Su-34 isn’t 11.3 like F-4E.
The Kurnass 2000 and F-111F/C sit at 11.7 with AGM-65Ds, weapons vastly superior to Kh-29TD.
China already has GPS guided weapons that counter Pantsir and ITO-90M…

Currently IR & TV guided weapons are equally bad at top BR ground.
So that makes the GPS glide bombs J-11B has the weapon of choice if you were to run it.
I personally ban aircraft that are a higher BR than my own tanks, and I don’t main CAS anymore due to spawn cost. JH-7A is probably the best CAS platform.

Why are comparing Su-34 at 12.7 that was and still is being used against things like the ADATS to the F-4E at 10.7 that fights things like the Strela?
Exactly. AGM-65 is a good weapon at 10.7, and does okay at 11.7, but is not a top tier worthy weapon that can compete with KH-38MT

heck, they even denied buffs to the Paveway IV and so far haven’t added a boat load of GPS guided weapons to multiple aircraft and denied massive buffs for several aircraft via upgraded Tpods, such as Sniper for the GR7, and there is still a 2 year old? report for 6x AGM-65 for the RAF Harrier IIs.

Because your post mentioned Kh-29TD equal and compared it, AGM-65B [F-4E’s primary AGM].
I brought up how that comparison is not useful because TV guided munitions are at significantly lower BRs due to the inherent range drop TV guided has over laser and IR guidance.
You’re not using weapons against SPAA, you’re supposed to use weapons against tanks.
Winning the match > selfish rewards.
Last major update released less than 2 months ago, it couldn’t have been years.
NATO CAS has been OP from ~2021 to July 2025.
KH-29 is the closest equivalent to AGM-65 the soviets have.
AGM-65 =/= KH-38MT. No where close.
Then they should have given the KH-29 an IR seeker instead of making up one for the KH-38ML. Im fairly certain a similar mockup existed for the KH-29.

Agreed, we should have FnF Nato ordinance too to balance things between CAS Enjoyers, but hellfires are not all terrible, i can consistantly get 2 to 3 kills per run with the F15E, but they desperatly need a buff, nothing worse than a tank eating an AGM65 and only getting tracked
Pantsir can engage 2 targets at the same time at best, IF they are flying at the same direction of one another.
IRIS T can engane multiple targets, multiple ordinances too, speaking of which, we really should make any damage to one of the launching vehicles count as damage to the main vehicle for the purposes of J out, i’ve constantly seen IRIS T, Claws and others immedietly J out to deny the kill when one of their missile trucks get’s destroyed
last tiem I tried to play the teapache. I was killed by a Pantsir before i had even taken off. After that, I removed it from my line-up and Havent touched it since. that was a year ago. Now, with things like the IRIS-T SLM. I dont see the point.
And I wish aircraft like the Typhoon got half the A2G payload of the F-15E. Even just some GPS guided Spear-3s to match the GBU-39s would be more than enough for now.

Still cant be bothered to put it in my line up until we get FnF.
Spawn cost can be dealt with pretty easily, though requires some ground work but its not a hard to do either. Just make sure you scout or hit and dip for Scout/kill assists. 6 Assists is plenty to drop the SP to 350’ish SP for any winged vehicle and less for Helis. Anymore past 6 Assists can drop CAS SP to 200’ish with full loadouts.
I agree the Apache is still very solid, ive pulled a lot of good games in it since people often just refuse to play SPAA to deal with me or i soam hellfires and the missile goes for those instead. More often than not its just people simply lacking basic awareness of me.

U know its bad when the best way to play it is to turn off the radar truck to just try and mad dog the missile at plane
