The SPYDER can’t even consistently hold a lock, what? It lacks Data-link, so it can’t fire and track multiple radar missiles simultaneously. Additionally, the Python 5 is extremely wiggly in flight and has the incorrect flight time. It barely reaches 10 kilometers effectively.

You are right about sentiments, but after a while CAS will be able to adjust to new enviroment these SPAA create and good players will start to work around it. These SPAA dont have any real skill ceiling, you just click on a drop down menu and posisition as best you can, CAS still has all the options in the world to improve their gameplay, only bad CAS players will suffer or cry about the new spaa after a while as things like spawning and looking down tpod like a caveman is no longer viable, and thats a good thing obviously.
vikhrs ruined everything for helicopters now Kh-38s ruins everything for CAS in general

like im normally against the “you havent played vehicle so you cant talk about it”, but dude somehow managed to go 43 air kills to 100 deaths on Pantsir out of all things.

I was thinking treetop level approach with GPS bomb tossing, but will have to test that first, we plan to do that with friends tomorrow and i wonder what they come up with.

It’s a trend that repeats itself very often here on forums.
X tank/plane/helicopter can counter me, please nerf it’s good, meanwhile one thinks how it works only from facing it and not trying it out himself.
anyways this thread is a bait and people eating it.
Edit. New SAM’s are welcome to war thunder, clears most CAS players who can only press spacebar upon air spawn and go mindless without any counter.

i mean yeah, but on the other hand, i dont need to fly the 12.3 BR Mirage 2K to know im not beating it in dogfight with F-4S.

Ya if you can get some good scouting going on that will work since you can just use the ground map and point the laser on target or at least near and not have to do any visual scouting yourself just focus on flying staying alive and dropping bombs.
Also as people get comfortable knowing effective ranges of these new missiles and how to shorten that range through their own flying there should still be room for higher alt agm launches on the edges of these ranges, at least 20km track missiles like kh38.
Fox3 kinda killed space climbing, maps are too small to have proper situational awareness since you’ll have people randomly spawning way too close and you’ll get spiked out of the air unlike ARB where good radar work can keep people outside of ranges its impossible or difficult to defend against. Maybe you can in bad weather with gps guided bombs combined with scouting since you wont get spotted from contrails.
Use light tank to reduce that to 100 sp

I don’t care if you dying after spawn people died like that to pantsir too . Tanks since forever dies to cas in the spawn heli rush ruins the whole game for the team ka52 wiping whole team . I Stopped playing Sweden because I will kill one and they will drop a kh38mt on me almost most matches I died to cas in Sweden. After that I played japan yeah man best nation to die from heli . Ka52 will just come and kill your whole team of Japanese with gun just point and shoot tank gone in 2 bullets cuz ofc apds . Finally saw slm and grinded whole tech tree for slm just so I can now kill these annoying people that half of the time do revenge cas or mindless killing of whole team shooting kh38 mt from 15-16 km and what we can do is watch it in our spaa as it comes close and close and kill like 5 tanks and you .

I agree with this plus it would stop a lot of these German mains from just spamming all 16 OP missiles at aircraft who cant avoid them as easily as su30 or typhoon i do think its unfair aircraft such as the su25SM3 which is while yes a KH-38MT carrier stand 0 chance against the missiles i have a perfect example i was flying my su25 and i was 15km away from the battlefield i had no RWR warnings and next thing i knew i was back in hanger before i got any of my missile off i will add i was 5m from the ground and yet the missile hit me perfectly

How am i ment to kill a SPAA sitting in spawn behind a building with its radar poking out when all the caps are under enemy control and my team is in spawn barely hanging on (if you say skill issue i swear)
