and what’s wrong with giving people the choice? The 2 modes would exist side by side if people want the full experience they play regular ground rb, if they just want to play tanks they’ll play the tank only mode there would be premium choices in both. Premium sales will ultimately go unaffected because you can play whatever your premiums are(be it tank or plane or heli) in both modes.
I’m not going to apologise to him. I did nothing wrong. He wants to run away from an argument and flag me into silence. He lost this fight the second he had to drag in outside help. Zero honour, I swear.
No there isn’t. Never has been. Never will be.
The Tank-Only pop is beyond niche’ and insignificant in number that they aren’t worth catering to. Period. End of discussion.
What Ground Combined Arms needs is decompression, better maps, more modes and better BR placements. Not a World of Tanks copycat.
They actually have separate tiger 1 and t-34 models that served as ground targets in air battles, they are like low poly version compare to the version appears in ground battles.
Go ahead. Try shooting a scout drone down with a Roland or Stinger.
I dare you.
Wouldn’t a Tanks Only mode literally be a part of the “new modes” you are talking about?
But can it play Doom?
He is talking about new missions. Stuff other than just cap A, B, and C
No. I’m talking about new modes other than the stale domination modes.
Also, single OBJ domination modes need to get out. Forever.
The funny thing is that I didn’t flag any of your posts.
At least you should know how to admit your own wrongdoing.
On the actual topic, the US spaa is pretty fun so far. I do wish it could have more aim9x though.
I still wouldnt put them up in br. I would rather wait for people to figure out the new meta first.
You are not wrong. I mean look at the current new SPAA for example. The Spyder is already useless in current ground RB and Gaijin has no problem with that.
Yeah, I agree on getting rid of single caps. It’s literally just a battle of who has the fastest tank to get there. I used to love it when I was grinding out SPAAs, especially with the likes of the Bosvark and Ystervark. Fastest vehicles at their BR, I could get to the point before anyone else showed up in my sights.
Worst ground mode. Cap the point then push back the enemy into their spawn, then spawncamp them and because the maps are so trash there’s no way for the losing team to regain momentum once it’s lost.
Will you show me a video of you taking over the base with a light, taking the kh38mt for 550 points? Are you going to bury your head in the sand like an ostrich again and start insulting me?
Exactly. That’s why my favourite game mode is battle. My only issue is in Customs though. I cannot change the battle from 60 to infinite (exaggeration, but you know what I mean).
I kind of wish they had a gamemode like Operations in Battlefield, or whatever gamemode is in Enlisted, where you push up to capture a zone, and try to push the enemy back. Maybe make spawn points cheaper and can use infinite back ups until you run out of points.
However I recognise that will never happen. The game is based on milking money.
I do wish we could have our dynamic spawn mode back. Sadly, players yelled for it to be removed.
If only. A mode like that would be a breath of fresh air in this so-stale-it’s-mummified game.
Well the problem of Tank Only focuses more on balance issues.
The GRB keeps the balance from breaking by combining bad tanks with good SPAA/Jets/Heli etc, making every nation worth trying.
However, this method no longer works in TO, because now players can only rely on their ground units, and some nations are not really good at it: you can’t expect a Challenger 2 to win over a 122/A7 if both are experiecned players. Although some nations might have pretty good support vehicles( LT/TD/IFV ), but in the end they still need MBT to do the face off job.
Therefore, in TO players will tend to choose nations with good MBT and above-average support vehicles, and the whole battle mode would quickly become a Leopards Vs Leopards mode.
Not very different than how it is now, where the entire team is just nothing but one of three nations, and then one or two people from minor nations.
