Kh-38 truly ruined the game for both CAS and ground enjoyers imo. It broke GRB so hard that it required some potent SPAA to counter it (still debatable whether they’re enough). But in result, less fortunate CAS (11.0-12.0) got completely obliterated.
This thread is golden. For years the Pantsir is kept at the same BR as VASTLY inferior spaa’s and enables Russian CAS to run uncontested to make the most horribly unbalanced experience ever.
All of a sudden, Russian CAS has to actually use a brain cell to play and now they want other nations spaa’s BR to be increased??? LOL. All the new spaa’s should be buffed to be as effective as the IRIS-T SLM (which is still underperforming from irl and is very bugged) and they should only go up as high as the Pantsir goes up as well.

Can’t bug report it, as the marketing brocure, i.e. the only available information isn’t enough of a source. They never said why they added it, they just… made it up and added it to the game.

As a tangent to all this cope, CAS is still facerollingly easy to play in most brackets and in general vastly outstrips SPAA capabilities within their brackets.
Case in point me spamming the S2B for the last few days, maybe 5 of my deaths were in GRB after basebombing in ARB of which most of them were my own fault for lazily flying into range of enemy SAMs not caring. All of the ground kills are players in GRB.
It is virtually impossible to die to enemy SPAA and takes extremely little effort. It is good to see SPAA actually having a strong presence for a change.
