In order for me to get more than 1 kill and a missile up my plane’s ass before the missile reaches the target, I have to play it smart. Keep the distance, notch te missiles, keep the radar shut so evemy RWR doesn’t detect me and hide behind hills. Ofc, before the update it was easy aim and click while flying at 10km, but now it’s balanced.
Well, on average 3 out of 6 players I send my missiles to know.
Well on average thats all based on luck rather than them knowing so thats a lame excuse also might be tied to your bad target choice. Either way tanks have no idea the missile is going for them
What about a big ass smoke trail all over the sky?
Which if at certain distance doesnt render and tanks kinda have stuff on the ground to look at, not really much time to look up for a guy in a noob tube spammer and/or waiting for one to spawn

Nah, I always see that big ass trail in the sky and it’s not that hard to press C and spend 3 seconds for looking up.
Dude you NEVER played against Su34 or 30SM, you played NOTHING other than RU so stop making excuses! You see the trails because AGMs have MUCH shorter range thus render distance being lower and noticeable

Yeah, but there are equivalents and it doesn’t have to be Kh-38MT, it can be any other missile and I always see the trail.

My dude, the new SPAA with their radar and armaments aren’t even operating with as much range and efficiency as they do IRL. They really should be better than they actually are, in-game. CAS does really need more of a challenge.
At the same time, All of high and top tier is compressed to hell still and when you couple that with maps the size of fishbowls - Nobody is really having a good time. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again;
Gaijin cannot design good maps nor can they actually balance out battle ratings properly.

You don’t seem to be able to understand the problem top tier CAS is, so let me spell it out for you.
Being killed by someone who can spawn ,fire off 6 x mach 2 thermally guided missiles with huge warheads, who can then land and do it all over again Is a huge problem. Especially as, up until the new updated, you could do nothing about it. Perhaps the 11.0 planes suffer a bit. Boo hoo. They’ve inflicted the pain on ground units with no real counter for far too long so I don’t really give a crap.
I won’t even get into the fact the kh-38mt doesn’t even exist, but just from a gameplay perspective it’s utterly absurd. The new SAM systems have been desperately needed for a long time.
Perhaps you should try to get some experience what it’s like actually facing those things before you wax lyrical about something you have literally zero experience with.

Just further proves the point of how unbeliveably OP those things were…and it shows on the forums by the amount of crying coming 99% from the RU folks…the last few days but probably even longer top tier was pretty much unplayable unless you had RU on your side because everyone just rushed anything spawned in noob tube carriers and started deleting the whole team… THANK FCK that is over now…to an extent

Russia is getting the BUK next update. Look on the bright side, at least you have an effective sam. the 2nd best in game infact, and aren’t stuck with a bloody OTOMATIC or ADATS in the meantime.

Actually it is since mmost you in noob tube carriers are capable of doing is flying straight and firing 6 missiles and while you are doing that you may fire of a few, sure but you are also dead and I take all your missiles down
