Then I apologize, I thought that it was a multi-platform and could be launched from an plane.
IRIS-T SLM is an IR missile.
Sure, no problem, just make sure you do your research first in the future.
SLM is, unsuprisingly, found only on german top tier AA IRIS-T SLM.
You can compare how the missiles looks when compared to standard plane launched IRIS-T which is multiplatform and is found on swedish Elde 98.
I read somewhere about a version that could be launched from an plane. I guess I assumed that was possible. But apparently, as far as I understand, it’s not.
The base IRIS-T
The SLM is larger missile and no one decided to mount it on a plane.
Meteor would blow the R-27EA out of the water, Currently the R-27ER is on the same levels of the current top ARHs kinetically and would be on the weaker side of maneuverability probably only beating the AIM-120s
irl r-27ea/a would only be put on mig-29.
but in game i’d bet basically every russian plane would get em
This is a very obvious mockup. There was even to this day never any proof provided that the R-27EA was actually a made missile (besides iirc the R-77 was deemed better but I’m not sure). So far only a mockup (that one specifically) and planned flight data are known, but nothing further has been provided by others who argue it was made.
So far anything else stating something being a “R-27EA” (infamously Deagel spreading that misinfo further) are just other R-27 variants.

That is not a R-27EA. Nor is it the same seeker dome to fit the “newer” radar. iirc the older seeker dome wasn’t that fitting with the missile radar in terms of search and scanning, possibly being just for the expo, but take that with a grain of salt.
The closest thing to it is the R-27A, which not only multiple were made, but were also tested multiple times.
Yup, just never fully constructed along with the seeker in the extended range form
Otherwise it would be like adding the Typhoon AGM
Yes Yes Yes Yes

it is since it is still called IRIS-T SLM
that name is an acronym for
Infra Red Imaging System – Tail/Thrust Vector Controlled, Surface Launched Medium range
ontop of that it says in your own screen shot that it is IR guided

The ER being a Fox-1 with DL is what makes it good tho
ARH would be a downgrade
Is there an Extended Range Version of the R77? ( not with Ramjet just an extra extended fuel capacity ).
there is the r77m without gridfins
thrust vectoring?
No, it just has standard fins.
R77m is slightly longer and has different fins at the back
