Hello,
I would like to ask what happened here? @Necronomica
A low lvl player (27lvl) T-34-85, hip shot and penetrated my angled UFP of M4A3E2 (76) W (Super Jumbo) with BR-365K round.
I game it’s 0 chance to penetration:

are you sure thats where it hit you and not the side? russian 85mm has really good normalisation against angles.
Idk how did u conclude that.
screenshots and clip from SERVER replay CLEARLY shows UFP hit.
the video wont even load.
it hit on top of where your screenshots show. it hit the weld line between the UFP and hull roof.

“Cough” Russian bias once again
Who knows. I penned the front turret of a US T-34 to the right of the gun, with a single 20mm DM round from a Marder A1 that destroyed the entire tank.
the normalisation is realistic, as per soviet documents on the 85mm.

whats your point?
Hit analysis is from client replay, it doesn’t always show correctly, especially details.
Look at the Server replay again, slow down the speed as much as possible and use free-cam to look at where the shell actualy hit.
Just think, even if you would of survived…one of Gaijin’s magical Yak 9Ks with it’s one shot nuke round would of probably gotten you.
Now you can also see the difference between server and the hit analysis which is interesting. The hit analysis says its about the shells own width further to the right than it actually was.
Wait a minute, Angle of attack 52 deg., Heading angle 29 deg. the plate it’s 101mm.
Effectiveness is just 125?
Also BR-365K at 30deg. has 114mm pen, so 126mm at 29 deg is GREEN penetration?
Isn’t a bug then?
There are single pixels when effective armor drops from 194mm to 126mm? What magic happens there? Please explain.
There might be some sort of bug, i do not know (possibly where plates meet each other behind the UFP? ). But you can’t just take the angle of the shell and armor thickness into account when looking at it, you also have to look what type of armor it is and what it’s angle modifier is as well as the shell and what that shells angle modifier is.
Here is more information for you to read if you want to :)

Well maybe it’s time to finally make a bug report about that spots where 2 plates meet each other. It should be harded to penetrate the armour when there is another plate to penetrate behind, not easier…
